Personally if you wanted to do an actual show then you should use once upon a time as a beginning followed Heartache OR Bonetrousle for part one. Use Waterfall with a little bit of Spear of justice as an end for part 2. Then you might need a percussion break so add Spider dance and ASGORE for part 3. Part 4 should be finale short and then short undertale to the end. Hopefully that added up recommended 7-9 minutes of marching band timing ⏱

Absolutely amazing! I commonly see people arrange great marching band music for brass, but the percussion and woodwind parts in this were absolutely amazing as well. The transitions were so well thought out and overall, this arrangement was just very well done! Great work!
This is absolutely amazing. As many have said, a bit long for a standard marching show, but a fantastic show in its own right. Only thing I'm a bit sad on is the lack of Hopes and Dreams/SAVE The World, but there's so many great songs some just had to be cut from it for sure. The only minor thing I noticed is you have a lot of songs in 3/4 time in here. Heartache, Spear of Justice, and Waterfall all are in that time signature, which is a fair bit harder to chart for in a marching sense. That either means the marchers are going at a very slow step speed, or are marching triple time to keep the beat. This though mostly applies to Spear of Justice and Heartache due to the tempo, but it's mostly a minor thing. I absolutely love the percussion feature done with Spider Dance, I can imagine the band doing some fun visual routine on the field, my high school band always had something every year I was in it during that. Phenomenal show, great writing all around, and I hope to see more in the future.

One thing that I thought would be a cool adjustment, after listening to this way to many times, is the 4 bars leading up to the last big hit of CORE should be an accel. I love how the dynamics dip back down and build up towards this moment and I keep thinking that it will accel leading up to the big moment. It will keep that faster tempo until the transition into Spider Dance, in which you already have it slowing down. What do you think?
This is really good! It makes me want to finish up my undertale drum corp series ive been working on for a couple years now. A few things that stuck out to me were the percussion and the transitions. While the actual length of the show is way beyond what a high school band can play, or even what dci allows, it makes good use of the time. The transitions are soooo good! The movement from asgore to your best nightmare is honestly my favorite. Some things i would fix is the overall mastering. While i love percussion, it overpowers the sound in many places, especially with the cymbals. The writing is really good (those bass lazers though >_>), but many times i cant hear the rest of the band. That can be corrected easily in the musescore mastering channel or by playing with the dynamics though, so its not super bad. Love the show, keep it up!
the drill for this must be insane. just came across this the other day and just wow. sad there wasn't a trombone feature for bonetrousle or getting to add megalovania. i think you should do this again but as a true pacifist route. that would be great to hear
Not sure you’ll see this as it is three years after this project came out, but would you be okay if I took this piece and wrote marching drill for it? I would likely take out more than half of it so it would be a feasible show, and I would put about 230 people on the field (which is as big as my marching band was in high school). I’m not a professional and I’m only mildly familiar with MAKING drill, but I have a lot of love for this piece and wanted to make something for it as a thanks. If you don’t want me to make it I’ll keep the project to myself, but with permission (and proper credit to you and Luis, of course) I’d like to make and post a marching show for this on my channel.
Sounds dope but only thing is, at most football games halftime is 15 minutes and for the band to go set up on the field and get into position would atleast be 2 to 3 minutes so in reality although this is dope as fuck. A 17 minute show is unrealistic

Also at least here in Colorado for cba you have a limited amount of time during official competitions as well, so I agree it needs to be shorter
Here in texas we get 15 minutes on the field: the 5 minute setup for props, the 8 minute show, and the 2 minute exit
From what I remember, it was about 2-5 minutes to set up, 8-ish minutes to perform, and 2 minutes to get off here in Georgia.
