Back when The Road Warriors worked for JCP, the company was on a West Coast tour that had a house show in Reno, NV. This was when Animal was wearing the hockey mask feuding with The Powers of Pain. After the show, we were able to get autographs of several of the wrestlers on their way to their cars and The Road Warriors made sure, as long as we kept up, they signed autographs for all of us on the way to their car. I was fortunate to get Hawk and Animal's autograph that evening. I remember asking Hawk about Nikita Koloff and Tony Schiavone. Hawk mentioned Nikita was at home with his wife, who later passed away, and called Schiavone, "Tony Bologna". What us kids didn't realize, is the other wrestlers who were traveling with The Road Warriors waiting for them which were Lex Luger, Sting and Barry Windham. They all signed autographs for us as well. Anyway, that is my favorite memory of meeting The Road Warriors growing up.
James retired from football in 2017 and, last I heard, was working as a College Football Analyst on a weekly Ohio sports show. At 32 he has no plans of following his fathers footsteps

His last year in New Orleans he only played 2 games due to a quadricep injury that he reinjured and was waived leading to his retirement. He's currently an analyst on the Big 10 network and is co host of an OSU sports show.
