I would place a plastic pan at the bottom to capture that water, for my plants. Since this is fabric, it must be allowed to dry, or mold will set in.

The average American shower is 17 gallons which equates to roughly 8 minutes. You could comfortably take a 5 minute shower of daisy chain additional Jerry cans to expand the water capacity.

The water runs from a tank in the back of the van, and the water tank can send water to different components in the van.
