I know I'm late to the party, but thank you. I often feel as though I'll never be able to have a stable relationships or kids... videos like this are genuinely helping cope.
Hi Gillian, thank you for this video, it was encouraging, inspiring and very insightful. Diagnosed with MS three years now too, and in a long-term relationship. I couldn't ask for a better guy, but our long-distance at the moment makes it challenging! Never thought it would be tougher than having MS in the relationship equation, haha... You are doing a beautiful job, I look forward to seeing more of your videos and thoughts! PS. I love your accent
Gillian Kilgour Where are you from. Ur accent is not that common lol. Scotland? I like watching videos made by people with different diseases. It really opens up your mind and it makes you grow as a person. You learn to develop a lot of more empathy towards people. And most importanly, not to judge them... because a disease doesn't define anyone as a human being. I've been coping with ear problems which sometimes really get me down and i don't even want to get out of the house. I just spend the whole day in bed watching T.V. I was humbled by these problems. I used to not care about anything like this at all. Guess you know what I mean. I don't have to keep on going on about it lol. Cheers and I wish you the best of luck from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
You definitely need to have someone who can handle the long haul and they need to be compassionate honest likes to laugh and assure them how grateful you are for them it's really not that hard to become a loving kind partner they you can make a world of difference for your beloved Thank you 🙏😉😊❤
I did the same thing to..i pulled away..i was scared..i still love him deeply but i was afraid i would be a burden..it messes with your mind....sounds like you really love hope you all work it out..mine jumped right into relationship with someone else..give her a little time to understand herself
@@chosen1874 thank you for your time to help me. It's bin more then a year now. I never heard from her again. I don't even know how her condition is now. Its sad ending. Because I would love nothing more , to be there for her. And to try to make her life as good as possible
Hi I'm having so much trouble finding someone yet I think I'm doing loads to make myself a worthy candidate... I hope I find someone. Makes me realise we are in an age of chain discrimination... You're cute btw
I felt I had to go on & say this. I had an abusive x that is dating someone with MS. They have been dating for 7 yrs & they started dating & moved in together really fast. He knew she had it from the start. My question is? How does this relationship even last if he was abusive to me & I had no disability but she does & they're still together? Her family has no idea about his past!

The key word is "ex". Their relationship is not your business.
