@@martinbarfoed5040 I had a guy work up a 3d model for with the dimensions and curvature. I am trying to engrave staves from a whiskey barrel. But when I put the model in aspire go through with the lettering and create the tool path it doesn't follow or fit the text to the curve. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong or missing something. Any suggestions?
I have puzzled over this for ages, so simple when you know how. Thanks. I want to try inside a bowl
Me too!!! i have been thinking how and this awesome video just make my life simpler. Thank you.
Thanks man!!! 5 year old video to find out this simple solution... I've watched dozens of video's but only here i found the solution 😍😍😍💪💪💪
Thanks so much! I was so stuck trying to figure this out; I never even noticed the "project onto 3d model" button before today!
I miss that project checkbox. Thanks mate.
Is it possible to change depth of letters/milling?
what cam is it? i couldn't find that option on rhinocam.
Where did you zero your z axis when switching to vbit. On the already machined area or on the cuttoff material.
Robert P I used the same stock corner for zeroing both bits ( outside the cut area)
thank you
wow, I just tried this and it works great, thanks!
You deserve 100 likes but I have permission to hit one, very thanks
What program where you using
This is done using V-Carve Pro
Thank You
Can you do this without milling?
Yes, you can do that if you know the curvature of the surface and can model that in the program.
