I got my rg7321 for 120 and i adjusted the bridge and put 8 string strings on it and now it sounds like a brand new guitar and can hold drop E tuning well i also am upgrading to stephen carpenter fishman fluence moderns its a very good guitar especially to start on plus its nicer then any geo.
Thanks for sharing your story, very cool you were able to get it back! Ive had a ton of 6 string and bass guitars through my life, but only one 7 string,it was a Schecter Diamond series, very nice, had a floyd, just didn't bond with it sadly. Sold it back in 2011. I play in E and D standard most the time and for around the past six years ive been eyeballing 7 string guitars again,it seems Im craving the low end devastation factor. I saw a listing on Reverb for RG 7321 for $350.00,excellent condition, like yours. I dont know the production year, wasnt listed. I am excited now to have this bad boy. Arriving monday. For some reason,I cant stay away from Ibanez RG's. I have two Iron Labels, and a beautiful Lavender flame top RG 421. Had a few others, not up to snuff for me. I purposely got the 7321 beacause its just bare basics and ready to rip. I love you put in the SD Nazgul/Sentient pups. Im considering buying those later, along with some Gotoh locking tuners. Will see how good the bridge sounds, like you said, hipshot seems to be a fan favorite for hard tails, easily swapped. You are the second review ive read that loves this model. Several other sites were bashing it. I feel better now!😂🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Oh thank you for watching and hearing my story! It means a lot to me :) you’re very welcome. It’s awesome hearing your story too. Yeah the RG7321 model is not bad at all. Sure there are some things about it stock that Im not fond of, but if you want to completely modify and make an ibanez your own it’s pretty cool! I hope you enjoy it as much I did buying it back 😁👍. I wish I owned more Ibanez 🎸
@@AnthonyDiFiglioOfficial Honestly,Ive been playing since I was 15(im 56 now, yes,an old head banger😜)and I can say Ibbys are absolutely amazing guitars. Throughout my life I've had around 80 axes, all makes and models(except a baritone and a multiscale, both of which will be considered after I play the 7 for a bit)I would love to get my hands on a sweet J craft or prestige, the price tags make my butt pucker, so probably not likely. The Iron label RG's are tight,Im not a fan of the Axxion series, the body carves and flat gaudy paint jobs dont cut it for me. Get ya an Iron Label!!!
@@davidgalland1303 That’s awesome! I hope you get a prestige someday! Im eyeballing a 7 string one to use as a backup guitar after I record my upcoming Solo EP. But yes the iron labels are amazing value! I regret selling my RGD iron label 2 years ago. Such an awesome guitar for the money. I did do a review on it though 😁 but sold it to get my Music Man JP13 which is a beauty to play 😊🎸💯
Yeah,I know how that goes........always the GAS that bites us us in the ass😁 See something ya like, sell other stuff to get it! Good luck on your recording, look forward to hearing it! Make sure to blow the windows out of the house!☠🤘🎸🎼🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎺🎺
@@davidgalland1303 Absolutely GAS is an addiction for us players indeed haha. Thanks again, Will do my friend! I can't wait to present it to everyone on here with more upcoming news within the next few weeks. I'll keep you guys posted as I found a producer to track/record this summer for my first release as I am very excited! :)
Haha nothing wrong with 6 strings bro. I still play mine and still love them, I just mainly play 7 nowadays as I mostly write in that range :) Miss hanging out when you were in FL. I hope you can visit soon!
Thanks bro a very nice video. I have the same guitar I bought it was my first 7 string. Still have the same stock pickup. My only issue is with the stock tuners. It doesn’t stay in tune now I’m not sure if I string my instruments as should like when u showed your guitar you barely had wire round the tuners…maybe I should do the same and test this out. I want to ask u what string gauge u are using?
Oh thank you for watching! Im happy you enjoyed it! It’s a great affordable 7 string. I think in this video I used 9-42 and a 72. Im not sure If I remember tbh
Its a solid guitar! Im sorry to hear your cousin sold it. Personally, thats one of few reasons why I'd never lend anyone an instrument :( that really is a shame.
"All you need is 6 strings and 22 frets" said every non-metal fan out there. My 7321's down to F# standard lol.
Sounds great!

Dad: What do you need a 7 string for?
Anthony: You'll see why 😈
Lol savage
Haha he sure did find out 😂😂😂😂👍🎸
That was my first 7 string guitar I even played shows with it
I let my cousin borrow it and he sold it without my content I miss it 😥

It would be funny if your old band mate tries to buy it back from you.
Ikr haha. I was thinking the same thing 😆😆 but this ones definitely a keeper :)
