I got a random phone call from a lady asking for an estimate to mow her overgrown lawn. I told her that if it's overgrown, I'll mow it for free for my RUclips channel. She responded wwith a shaky voice "free"?, and started crying and explaining how the rental company is giving her and her daughter 45 days to move out. She thanked me like 30 tims over the phone, and I told her that ill be praying for her situation.
God's timing is perfect.

I'm NOT Trying to be mean but why is this house bigger then the others, if Only a one bedroom?! The other houses look like one bedroom houses. Believe Me, I've been where she is SO There's NO Way I'm Judging. Just wonder why a one bedroom place is this Big.If Apts inside, why would she have to mow all of that? My heart goes out to her!! ❤❤
What puts you at the top, in my opinion, is not only the quality of work you do but that you continue to bag up all the debris. Even though you have the discomfort of dust blowing all over you and the extra work to load and haul away the debris. "Top Professional in my book"! It's so true. I've stopped watching Channels where people just mow the grass and leave it without raking and bagging it up. Always looks like a half done job.

The help you give people is truly a blessing!! In 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that spread to multiple bones. I was dealing with health issues and losing my house to foreclosure. I reached out to lawncare companies to get my grass cut before I was fined and only a handful responded. The couple of ones I dealt with ended up cheating me. It's a rough world out there and there aren't many good hearted trustworthy people like you! I love your channel, your morals and your integrity. ❤

@@Morse-t5z I said if it were ME, I would have cleaned out the yard. Listen, I'm 64 years old, with health issues and I still do my own mowing and edging and all that goes with it. It takes me longer as I have to stop and rest every 15-20 minutes, but I do it. I know people fall on hard times, maybe she can't afford a mower, but it costs nothing to pick up your trash, especially when you have someone kind enough to do all that work for free.

Just before you said that about your bagger I was saying to myself you take the time to bag up the grass and it looks so much neater then just leaving old grass laying around.Keep up the amazing work.Love what you do for people.
There’s another lawn care guy on his RUclips channel, he never bags all the grass clippings and he uses his leaf blower to blow all the loose grass back on the lawn. It looks messy. The winds will blow all that loose grass all over the street and neighbors yards. I don’t know why he does that. 🤔🤷🏻♀️

I guess I do not understand why she would want to do the lawn when the rental company has already given her eviction notice. Unless it was contingent upon her lawn care. But it makes me feel good that there are nice and good people in the world,,thanks for your service. I try to tell people that there should be mandatory community service for teens who break laws, Not felony laws but if there would be a mentor who could work with the authorities on giving teens some training and some pride in themselves for doing good. Sometimes property owners sell houses that they rent and don't give the tenants much notice. It happened to one of my family members. If the tenant cleans up the house and property they will get the deposit they put down. Unless there are other reasons involved, we are not to judge. I was thinking what be the motivation to do the lawn, it would appear to be a security deposit is the possible reason. Obviously since she already had to find a place to live it isn’t to avoid be evicted.
I'm watching your video now, wondering why rental company doesn't Include the lawn being cut. She's a renter,, she may not have a mower or a weed wacker. They should cut the lawn, and just ask the renter to clear yard if debris and trash. That way they know the property is maintained. She probably can't afford a mower or with a young child can't be out cutting grass for a hour or two. I'm glad you helped her.

From experience many owned homes where the owner has hired home management service don't do anything but collect the rent. Even though they're a management company they just manage finances. That's it. Home owners don't know anything about how these management companies function. IMHO, they're all lazy.

I know if I owned rental properties I would like them maintained. I had a gentleman who renter to me and he cut the grass when needed. I greatly appreciated it. And he didn't charge me extra either. He just wanted his properties to look nice.

THanks for doing this. Same thing happened to us after 9 years. The owner wanted their kids to have the house. We're in our 70s and ended up in an apartment. Very depressing

If I had to move, doing all the packing, cleaning, looking for a new place all by myself, the junk in the yard would be towards the bottom of my list of to do's.

Modify the grass catcher by putting something on it so it protects you where you need it. Cloth or canvas or tarp or whatever.

Phil the times we live in I am so thankful your kindness shines thru. I live in Canada and this is a common occurrence. Landlords do this so they can drastically increase the rent. I know some people will say it’s business but put yourself in her place. I hope she manages to pull thru.
What we do to help others is never without reward. Her tears were gratitude. That was a great reward. I pray that all goes well for her. I've been homeless before and I know that pain and embarrassment. God bless you for being there to help her❤

People start out wanting a happy home, and it doesn't always work out. I looked at the neighborhood and sort of wished that they could have acted on the signs of distress there and helped-out with the yard. Even if it took a while, it would have at least added some spiritual support while change and a cope could be sorted-out. Thank you very much Fill for making the time to help, and also aiding the rental place to get the home back into function in the neighborhood. All then survive better. You are working on "anything that needs doing", from Trimming to moving garbage/clutter. Nice use of your brush unit. I remember your struggles with overheating and hydration. Glad you found the LMNT packs (and will look up the ingredients). Bonus for the neighborhood, you were clearing the grass strips in the street as you shoveled the street gutter clear. An excellent recovery.
@robertshrewsbury5067 It’s not the neighborhoods responsibility to help out. There’s so many lawn care videos where you see one house just like this and no one offered to help. And some people have great neighbors to help. Maybe because the neighbors knew it was a rental house, the neighbors didn’t know they could help. It’s too bad people rush to blame total strangers to help out first. I have seen a lot of comments where people blame the neighbors first. The landlord should have hired someone to clean up the yard since they own the home. It’s too bad people keep to themselves more and don’t go out to get to know their neighbors. My mom has great neighbors and my mom and her neighbors are all good friends and help each other out and even share food with each other. Unfortunately, there aren’t many neighbors like that.

The sad part is that it was possibly the state of the yard that made them kick her out. She tried to do the right thing by phoning you. You are a champion for helping her out. She probably couldn't afford to get it cut and was wondering which bill she could put off to get the job done. After you had finished the yard, more than likely it looked better than when she moved in.

It's a pleasure to watch your proformance, I do consider you a professional lawncare person, most other young startups only do what they think they can get away with, edging a sidewalk with a trimmer or trimming bushes, hedges or trees and taking the brush to the back corner and dumping it there or throwing excess edgewaste and throwing back in the yard and mowing over it. Years ago I got really sick and couldn't work. I did get a crappy apartment in public housing that came with a backyard that I was required to mow. I had no income. A person who started out as a stranger but became a friend volunteered to come out once a month and mow it. Didn't need anything else. Thankful doesn't even begin to describe how I felt. So glad you were able to help that woman.

I’ve been waiting for you to comment on that catcher/basket/bagger. The backend goes up, the designer should’ve tried to design it so that it goes back and down 🤷🏻♀️ instead of back and up. How annnoying to constantly stop to unhook the think, shake it back then get back on again 🙄
