When I heard there was an overabundance of mice and you were “going in to clear the trash” the first thing I thought was get an elastic band around the bottom of each of your pant legs so none of those little critters can climb up your leg. Ask me how I know this is possible? 😂 Fabulous job on the yard! You are such a good human!!
Years ago I lived in a very rural area where people lived in half the house and had their livestock in the other half of the house. I sat on the couch in a flowing skirt I wore so I could ride a bike wherever I went. In talking to the people in the house I suddenly felt a “critter” climbing up the inside of my skirt 😳 and I put my hand on my leg to “trap” it, fully expecting, given where I was, that it was a rat. I tried to be a calm as possible (I am not a rodent fan!) and not cause alarm for the family I was visiting…and reached up under my skirt to pull out a small kitten!!!!! 😂I was so relieved it was not what I thought it was….your jumping as you found the mice reminded me of that story….Thanks for all you do, you did a great job on this whole property!!

My parents lived in a Florida house. They were in their late 80’s. They bought their house in the early 1970’s. Rats in the attic, snakes under the carpet, flying palmetto bugs everywhere. It was a jungle in their yard. Eventually, nature took back their home. Hurricane Irma took it back. Roof flew off and so much damage.

We moved into a neighborhood, at the corner edge of a cul-de-sac. Most everyone was quite nice and welcoming; however, I was warned about the “crazy cat lady” at the far end of the street. She had been a ‘collector’ of stray cats, resulting in animal control clearing out at least 21 cats just prior to us moving in. Her property appeared to be tidy, but as you got closer, it was clearly getting run down. Her husband had died 5 years before we arrived, and it was clear that he must have been the property caretaker. She began talking with me, as she noticed we had two young school-age children. She invited me for tea one day while the children were at school. Oh, my! Her house interior was an absolute treasure trove, stuffed with beautiful items, furniture, Persian rugs, etc. from their years of travel, beginning in WWII when he was a career Naval officer. She had an eye for true antiques and museum quality decor! Her house was amazing! She was nearing 90 years old, and a bit bitter that her husband was gone, she’d outlived her friends, her daughter & son-in-law were leaching off of her, she was allowed to only have 3 spayed cats on the premises, her hearing & eyesight was diminishing, AND her doctor demanded she use a cane for stability. Her driver’s license had just been revoked, because she’d been caught by a San Francisco police officer driving the wrong direction on a one-way street. She was sad, lonely, and rather scared, but was too proud to ask for help with her yard. Her mow-and-blow guys were always ripping her off, so she fired them. She constantly yelled at the neighbors for various imagined ‘threats’ to her existence, so nobody wanted to help her. I knew her daughter’s visiting ‘schedule’ and how long she’d be away from the house, so I began cleaning up the side yard clutter in 1 hour increments, slowly working my way to the front yard. I began gradually trimming the shrubs away from her sidewalk, providing a clear pathway to her front door. Next week, tree branches, followed by flower beds. Each time, I’d run our lawn mower over her grass, lowering the blade with each visit. It took two months of 1 hour ‘stealth gardening’ visits (often at night to remove the bins of trash I’d collected) to get her yard in shape. Only one of the six other neighbors noticed my visits/work, as the others were at their daily jobs. They just assumed she’d finally hired a top-notch gardening service. It certainly increased the value of everyone’s home on the street. Once my ‘work’ was done, I suggested she hire her adjacent neighbor’s gardener to help her maintain her yard. She actually thought he’d been doing it all along, with her daughter paying him!! I told her no, it was me, and I’d been fitting it in while doing my own yard renovation. She hired the guy after I talked with him regarding what was needed and his pricing. If he had questions or concerns, he could discuss it with me, and I’d relay the information to her. Her heart eventually gave out and she died a few years later. I met her son after she died and discovered she was nearly 100 years old. Sadly, her daughter cleared out the house, selling the treasure trove of 1800s-era antique American furniture, china, antiquities (I mean items that should belong in museums), heirlooms, etc. before giving her brother a chance to select anything for himself. It is now many years later, my husband and I are nearing retirement age, so we’ve built our dream retirement home about 900 miles from where we currently live. Since I’m no longer working, I’ve spent several months (3 to nearly 6 months each visit) over the past few years designing and having the original house rebuilt, as it’s in a historic designated district. The land and weather is challenging, so we spent two years working with a landscape designer and installer to address water needs, plants, land ‘sculpting’, etc. Our next door neighbor has turned out to be the Neighbor From Hell (NFH). His property is meticulously maintained. When we bought our property, it was an absolute DUMP. We had it cleared of all debris, including trash, a dumped cut-up spa, old pool material (which we later discovered had been a portion of NFH’s pool remodel!), and dead and decaying trees. Very antagonistic guy, especially when we discovered he was trying to ‘take’ about 1/4 of our 2 acre piece of land during our property survey. Nope, we put an end to that with a beautiful wall, wrought iron fence, and powered driveway gates. Front yard landscaping was finished, and it was featured in a fundraiser ‘yard tour’ this past fall, and the property is slated to be featured in a glossy print later this year. NFH has been caught on security cameras trimming his shrubs and trees and throwing his debris over the fence and into our yard! The city, the gas company, the roads & streets division, the USPS, the water company have all been contacted by NFH to report us ‘violating’ code, ordinances, set-backs, etc. He tried to prevent us from removing a tree on our property because the shade it cast on his property belonged to him. Could it be that he just hates us? Turns out that each of the nearby neighbors have had run-ins with NFH as he tries to control them - we’re just his newest ‘victims’ who refuse to be controlled by this former CEO of a large company. Retirement must be brutal to someone who is accustomed to ordering folks around. Thanks for listening/reading my long rant.

I always love your videos because you clean up everything- rubbish, leaves, mowing, blowing and washing! And you finish it up with a fire to burn anything else left! Such a lot of hard work and it looks great when you finish. Thanks.
It’s unusual to be allowed to have a fire in a garden like that - at least here in Toronto area it’s not allowed (I think?) but I guess your area is more rural?
I doubt this was intentional. People age and are physically no longer able to keep up their property. They live on a fixed income and unable to afford to pay someone to help. No family. Get sick. End up in hospital or nursing home or die. Property becomes derelict. City sends tickets to dead people. Always curious what exactly happens to these properties
First time seeing your videos what a blessing you are to not only clean that yard but you helped that neighbor too by cutting here tree in back and leaving here firewood. @@ellenosceola5707 Typically when they're left in this place there's lot of punitive feeling from eviction so they trash the place.
Someoe who died there wouldn't leave a monument of trash outside.
Question? If the city or state can give a person fines for not keeping their yard clean....... why isn't the city/state or bank (now ower) responsible when it's abandoned?? Im from Canada, so this is unclear to me ? Here, the town or city is headed responsible 🤷♀️
Interesting how the city gives him permission to clean up their problem.
I love it when he helps out people who truly can't do this work to their home anymore due to age or disability. Those are so heartwarming
OUTSTANDING! I absolutely love your lawn transformations, but I look forward to the yard clean ups the most. No one does it better than you! Thank you so much 🙏🏾
Thanks for the support!!
This is my new favorite property clean up channel 🥰 you’re just the best
Awesome!! Thank you.
Does that trees and the grass become green again????
Great job, Sean, as always. I admire your work and your ability to transform these properties. I am a 79 year old woman who suffers from arthritis and sometimes after watching you work so hard I feel like I am doing the work right along with you. I love your videos. I hope you continue to do them. May the Lord bless you and your family.
When I heard there was an overabundance of mice and you were “going in to clear the trash” the first thing I thought was get an elastic band around the bottom of each of your pant legs so none of those little critters can climb up your leg. Ask me how I know this is possible? 😂
Fabulous job on the yard! You are such a good human!!
Hahahaha - this is amazing. Love it.
You are an amazing hard worker and a compassionate man. God bless 👍
This reminds me of the time my cat was chasing a chipmunk and it ran up my leg and up under my dress!!😂😂
Wear a mask, you don’t need to breathe the dust that’s from mice infested areas. You’re such a hard worker! Bless you!
The reveal is not expected. The best part is watching you reveal the reveal.
Haha - thanks!
With each video I watch of this fella, I can't miss the next one. I love your tenacity, hard work and family values. You're a great man and I only wish you great prosperity through your channel. Love watching them.
A hundred million likes!!! You are THE MASTER of clean up.
You do a fantastic job. Love your can-do spirit.
When I grow up I want to be like Sean Stockman…nice work as always my friend
Bora lá gente este cara merece nosso like.
You did a FANTASTIC job on this property! I love your enthusiasm for the job! Using a fire-pit on these jobs is genius, and it adds to the ambiance of the clean up. I loved that the neighbor stopped by to chat with you and encourage you. I realize we didn't see everything that went on at the property while you were working, but I am always amazed that the neighbors aren't coming over with water bottles and food for you while you work. You really went out of your way for the next door neighbor, so a big thank you for that.
Just FABULOUS! Thanks for the Extras, too! Major tree trimming, wood chopping, and washing all that Filth away...FANTASTIC! ❤😊
Your the ONLY American who is keeping up with Australia and New Zealand quality. You should have over a MILLION followers! Soon I hope 😊
❤️❤️
@teribelleau137 👏👏Totally agree with you!
Great job. I so appreciate people who help others without charges.
When I was a newly wed, years ago, I loved to do yard work (and my husband agreed to wash the dishes) I did all the yard work but, I'm in my late 70s, and being a widow, I can't take the chance anymore.
Thank you for all you do. My favorites were when you cleared the sidewalks where the kids got off the bus. Bless you! ❤
So disappointed…no toilet or diapers, but you made up for it with a bumper and mice! Great job!
Clean groomed neighborhoods bring about safe and healthy communities. 💯 % fact. You are awesome.
I agree!!! So much!
Absolutely my favorite to watch!!!
SPECTACULAR! You have raised yard makeover videos to the level of genuine entertainment. This is no exception and I know the neighborhood is grateful that you made this property safe, clean and pest free. Well done!
Thank you! I try to bring you all along with me through the process. You all help make it happen.
You’re my favorite person to watch making yard transformations!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I'm amazed on how many properties are abandoned and the city or banks do not sale them off. You are a blessing to your community.
WOW!! I have said this in the comments once and I will say it again, you sir have set the standard for all others in your line of work! To say you go above and beyond is not an understatement!! I look forward to your videos every week!! Keep up the good work, take care of yourself and God bless you and your family! On a lighter note, no toilets this week LOL
You have improved the quality of life for anyone who had to look at that mess everyday. God bless you for what you do. You’ve left it in such good condition that now someone might have the courage to take it on as a fixer upper to make it a home again. What a gift for this community.❤
Привет! Создается такое впечатление что Вы выбираете, для очистки, самые грязные и заросшие участки. Но делаете работу на совесть
Unless you're a mouse haha
Maybe If they got rid of mice...🤷
@@bettyferguson2815 Yes, 👍, also in to the house, & probably to the neighbours after multiplying...🤢
I always like your yard clean ups. You rake, shovel, trim plus cut the grass. Thanks for your kindness.
Rolls down the window at the beginning had me crying 😂😂😂😂 glad you fixed it!
Right, and from the back seat as well! Had me a trifle confused there... Good one!
Another great transformation. I still can’t believe how much garbage there was. I’m sure the neighborhood will appreciate your hard work.
Why don’t the neighbours get off their behinds and do something about this property themselves? Do they not care about their own property values?
OMG, another job well done. You went above and beyond with this property 😊.
I just want to give you a great big hug and it's not even my house. Those special and final touches does the trick.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! This transformation is absolutely incredible. Your kindness, generosity, and hard work ethic is shining brightly in your community. The neighbor lady sounded so grateful to you for ridding her home of the neighboring mice infestation. You are one of two yard transformation channels that I subscribe to. Neither one are in it just for money making content. You're actually out there with purpose to improve your communities. Well done! I can't wait for next week's transformation.
I’ve seen a lt of guys on you tube doing property and yard work. But so far you’re the best I’ve seen. When you clean you really clean. Please I know you love what you do, but be careful and take care of yourself. Good luck and GOD bless you.
Wow! Just wow! 👏 You always clean up EVERYTHING. 🎉 Also, I love when there is a fire pit and you can burn the wood on sites. Stay safe and keep up the amazing work! 💜
Who else was thinking “ I bet that garage is full of mice? 🤔” 😂🤣😁👋🏼💞👍🏼🙌🏻
Exactly! Thinking the same!
🤣😂😂
Hanta virus from mice can kill.
Yup, your right
Yep.
Roof flew off and so much damage.
that's tough - were your parents still trying to live there? I do hope they, at least, were ok, and are properly housed now
You have a heart of Gold.
You went above and beyond this property. It looks like it belongs there now. God bless you. You did a great job. 🙏❤🙏❤
You are an inspiration truly, I was restoring my mothers porch and was daydreaming of doing it for people that need the help in my community. Later on that day I came across your channel, and after watching about a dozen of your videos, I decided I want to make my day dream a reality.
I know that work you're doing isn't easy, but it IS so worth it.
Wow!! Thanks for your kind words and gift!
This was an amazing transformation. I sat glued to the screen. A lot of fun to watch. Plus you had all the elements: earth, wind, Fire and Water 😂. The way you helped out the neighbors is a true testament to the man you are. Bravo 👏🏻 👏🏻
This is a top comment! Definitely made me smile. Thank you so much for watching.
Sometimes I’m amazed that the neighbors don’t pitch in and help these properties that are falling apart.
True neighbors would.
@@dlebreton7888 Judging the neighbors for not helping is the same as judging the people for not maintaining their property. We don't know the whole situation. Maybe you or I would help, but maybe not. We just don't know what the dynamic is. I hope no one judges you the way you judge the neighbors.
I’m guessing that they have plenty of work of their own.
@@hiho8084be good to know what the story is with the property. Looks half decent, in a nice area. Why is it abandoned?
You do such a fantastic job and work tirelessly! I am amazed that very few neighbours come over with coffee and home made cake/cookies to show appreciation for your work! If you were working near me I would provide some sustenance and my sincere tnks. Many tnks from an Aussie. 🤗🇦🇺
I never skipped a second or your videos. I admired how net, organized and clean your work. Watching from Philippines. May God blessed you more. ❤🙏🙏
Thanks so much!!
YOU ARE MY FAVORITE LAWN GUY.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL SOUL. ❤❤❤
You must gain a tremendous amount of self-satisfaction when you finish a clean up and see the big improvement in the yard. Blessings to you.
Love your work ethics,. Also your soccer skills. Great video today!
Man - had to dust those off! Haha
differently now my favorite lawn care channel to watch mow, trim ,clean trash fix things that are broken and now pressure washing, whats next plant a garden that's saddly lacking well does, and great way of treating people as well
I'm amazed that the lawn wasn't way overgrown. The powerwashing was the crown to all the cleanup you did.
*Another one down an a another one down, another ranks the BEST! Wow Sean( Mid-life Stockman )...trimming neighbors overgrowth for firewood, burning the trimmings/wood in an onsite fire-pit AND pressure washing! Simply awesome. I really enjoyed this cleanup. Two thumbs up.* 👍👍
You do a really great job. I’m glad you got your window fixed. I was very impressed when you cleaned the area for the children to walk on the sidewalk and not the road. Very dangerous for the kids getting on and off the bus. You are a blessing.
No more trash forvthe mice to hide in!!👍Great job!!
Oh my life! The amount of rubbish was horrendous. It actually looks like someone could be living there now. That poor neighbor. I bet she is pleased, and got her tree done too.
Why you are not at, at least, 100k subs I don't know. You are my favourite out there.
I just started this last August, that’s probably why. Thanks for the love and support!!!
Sean you are an amazing soul. You have such innate cheer and goodness. You truly love to be of service to God and others. Plus, you are really good at the projects you settle on. That being said…
The owner of this property should be fined. The garbage and vermin - ugh!!! Scary what the inside of the house must be like. Anyway! Great job and Thank You for being so giving of yourself and time. 🤗🤗🤗~Becka
Thank you for such kind kind words!
Ill never understand why people dump garbage in their yard when taking to dump is so easy! Great job Sean
Finally! A guy who takes away the broken stuff laying around on abandoned homes. I’ll be subscribing.
I like how you were able to burn so much of the dead wood right there in the backyard.
Wow! That transformation was incredible. I hope the neighbors really appreciated all your hard work.
My eyes popped out of my head when you cut to the video of you pressure washing the fascia on the eaves and the side of the house. That's amazing how far you're willing to go to make this place look good.Great job👍👍 . You're a hard worker that's for sure!
You made me laugh Sean when you appeared seated in the back of your car, love your sense of humour. Also your “my first flat screen” comment made me laugh. I enjoy your videos so much. Thankyou for all that you do. You are a blessing to your community and an inspiration to all. Also I loved the way your face lit up when your family bought you a hot drink last week. You’re a good man. 🇦🇺Dezi
Amazing reformation you are an inspiration ❤ ✨ 💖
You did it all on this property - trash removal, yard work, pressure washing!
Yeah, you are by far my new favorite for U.S. based yard makeover people. It just belatedly dawned on me that your process "attacking" the yard/property is so workman-like as opposed to several of the other channels. Done like someone who does many types of work and adapts.
It’s how my brain works. One section at a time. Helps mental organized - also - im sure the viewer likes seeing sections get completed!
@@MidlifeStockmanSo true, the hops, skips, and jumps would get to me real fast! Methodical, like Midlife Stockman is good for my brain! 😊
Yet there's an outcry for the need for more housing in America? Your hard work amazes me. To give this level of care to an absndoned property after people leave it in such a terrible condition? You've got real heart! The City should award you for being a true humanitarian though you're too humble for that, you surely deserve it for restoring harmony after such disarray. ❤
Never Disappointed, I wish every community had someone like you. More Blessings done for so many. What a difference you make in a day.
WOW! An epic cleanup. So much more satisfying watching trash and junk being cleared up as well, rather than just mowing, edging etc. Hope the neighbours put some bait in the garage, which I'm sure will now be full of mice.
Can you imagine the mice in garage? You threw the flatscreen tv how are the mice going to watch Tom n Jerry now? 😂
I love your channel. I don't know what the deal is with all the bumpers that get found doing cleanups but you sure had a bumper crop of them on this job! Keep posting your cheerful attitude lifts me up.
I’m so glad!!!
I always love your videos because you clean up everything- rubbish, leaves, mowing, blowing and washing! And you finish it up with a fire to burn anything else left! Such a lot of hard work and it looks great when you finish. Thanks.
Wow - so nice of you!! Thanks for being here.
The pit fire was favorite, watching another time
It’s unusual to be allowed to have a fire in a garden like that - at least here in Toronto area it’s not allowed (I think?) but I guess your area is more rural?
You make such a huge difference not only to that one property but to the entire neighborhood. Great job!
It's funny how the neighborhood looks even better when that problem property is cleaned up...awesome video...
I'm amazed at how far people can go to trash a property.Great clean up !
I hope she at the very least offered you something to drink or a meal. So was anybody living there? Do you haul away all that trash yourself?
You just raised the value of the houses in that area of the neighborhood! Fantastic job!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!Hard to believe the human race lived here. GOD BLESS YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!!!!!!!!
❤️❤️
You should wear an N95 when cleaning areas where mice have been. You can get Hantavirus inhaling the particles that have been distributed via cleaning. Blessings stay safe
That property looked like a landfill. Great job cleaning it up. It looks sooo much better. Thank you.
