    I agree.
So many Kemper PLAYER users now using a bunch of pedals in front of their PLAYER...just because they had a bunch of pedals gathering dust so they plonk them on the pedalboard.
I've tried your JVM Profiles on the Player, they sound killer...just like they sound on my Kemper Head.

I have used a Kingtone Duellist and a SP compressor in front at different times. I run a Dimension c in the loop.

I have a big pedalboard into the Kemper. In the case of the Blues Driver, I had a Keeley Super Phat Mod (blues driver) that was great, but I sold it because the Kemper’s BD-2 effect was so similar. But with other pedals, I keep them because I’m attracted to the nuanced differences they may offer. Like, a Kingtone Duellist is supposed to be a better Tubescreamer on one side, and using that gives me more confidence and satisfaction than cursoring to and selecting one of the handful of Kemper simulation presets. And if I want to tweak it, it’s so much nicer to turn a heavy, milled/knurled metal knob than to ‘edit’ it in Rig Manager.
Similar reasons with other pedals. I have a cheap Donner White Tape independent dual delay. M sure the Kemper has a similar effect but it’s so much more immediate and ‘fun’ to just twist the pedal knobs to get something I want, or to experiment.
With Reverb, I have a UA Golden Reverberator and it is just better than Kemper’s basic/staple reverbs. Fuzz is always better from a hardware device than a model or simulation.
With most other things, Kemper effects are ‘good enough’ for me. For instance, I wanted the most authentic Phase 90 for my Van Halen noodling, and I paid Analogman to mod the MXR script ‘74, but then found there wasn’t an appreciable difference vs the Kemper, so I sold it. With flanger for Van Halen parts, I found it ridiculous that you can’t assign a front footswitch on the Kemper Stage to an effect, so for those Van Halen flange parts that need to be rhythmically triggered and off, it’s a pain to have to step over the other switches. So a hardware pedal is best for that, unless you want to use separate morphs on the Kemper. Doable, but a hassle I wasn’t prepared for.
I just like having real hardware to fiddle with and learn about. I have ten overdrive pedals, most of which can prolly be emulated by the Kemper. But it’s more fun and interesting to kick on a Decibelics Golden Horse than “Klon 2” in a menu.

Hi Carsten, nice video! I’m just in a situation that I’m planning to use some extra pedals on my Kemper. What are your thoughts on adding a TC Electronic Mimic (Mini) Doubler to a Kemper if you’re the only guitarist in a band?

Hi Kenny! Have you tried the doubling / stereo widener effects that are in the Kemper already? I quite like them. Otherwise go for it! If you're the only guitar player in the band your guitar sound can't be fat enough. 😅🙌

@@CarstenStepanowicz haven’t checked these yet to be honest! I will certainly do so… thanks for the advice! Does that mean you have to go in stereo out to the PA when using this?

@@KennyC1983 You're welcome buddy. Yes, to really enjoy the full potential of the Kemper always run stereo to the FOH. Especially when you're using ping pong / stereo delays it will buff up your sound like crazy. ✌

Klingt ja so als würde der Kemper sich gut mit OD‘s gut vertragen. Der Kemper und ich werden immer bessere Freunde . Steht bestimmt bald in meinem Männerzimmer 😂
