Such an amazing car. Plenty of smooth power, room, and utility. Seats 5 very comfortably, and plants you back in your seat.
It is now almost 2018 and this car beat tha hell outta most boring cars out there. So shame that GM got rid of pontiac =(

These are fantastic cars. Glad to own a 09 GT myself!
Got myself a G6 GT 2009 with only 60,000 miles on her. Picked it up last spring and been happily driving her everyday since. Did a Stage 1 chip upgrade and cut out the Resonator, adding Cold Air Intake in the spring, pretty sure if it started with 220 ponies stock, it’s putting close to 250 now and many of my car buds concur. Really happy with it and intend to drive till I drop.
Mike, based on that 104 mph trap speed, it had to have been a typo... It should be 13.8 @ 104 which is right in the middle of the magazine runs. The best magazine run was a 13.5 @ 104.9 and the worst run was a 13.9 @ 101 There may have been a 14.0 in one of the smaller mags on a hot and humid day, but I never saw it.
Steve, why did you call the blaupunkt headunit just too weird? I happen to find it very intuitive and the sound system (11 speakers you could have mentioned) is pretty amazing for a factory unit. I love my G8 GT and with the addition of a 10 sub it now has an insane all around package.

This car has godlike instantaneous torque. Unlike the corvette which gives off a lazy feel because of the heavy throttle pedal, the g8, if you step on the gas you just blast forward. But of course the corvette is much faster
I love Pontiacs. Owned a 98 Bonneville SSEi, 05 Bonneville GXP, 06 Grand Prix GXP. Gonna try and get me G8 GT or GXP, but with my credit score...y'all pray for me.
The G8 is my FAV Australian muscle car; much better looking than that retched 04-06 GTO.
12.8? that doesn't sound right...I think the FireHawk was the only 12 second version
@stevehammes The interior is way better in Holden's sports division, HSV. Look at the interior of the HSV E-Series 3 GTS.
The best magazine time for this car is... 0-60 in (5.0) & the 1/4 Mile in (13.5 @ 105)... This was probably supposed to be a 13.8 @ 104 which would make more sense than a 12.8 ha ha.
Anyone else catch the '100-0 braking in 120ft'@1:35 ????

lol wow dude you sound like you have no idea what your talking about. have you ever changed all the settingings on Radio? It works alot better after you change that bud. Also all you need to do for the Navigation is go to your local Car audio installer and they can make the screen have navigation.

I'm calling B.S. on that quarter mile. I think all G8 owners know this. (I own one myself) A STOCK G8 GT is looking at running a 13.4-13.7 in the quarter mile.
