This was very refreshing Poki! Nice to hear your opinions and confront these assumptions. It's important to keep business and personal life separate, and especially as a streamer; you aren't obligated to share every aspect of your life with viewers. I agree about those label restrictions - I wish more people would look at it that way and not confine themselves within those borders. Often times it catches more heat than not when other people notice their actions don't fall within the label. 😅

Gosh I love your chats with us, your thoughts on a person's rights to privacy in all aspects of their life and open-ness about different aspects of yourself being 'streamed' are so well put together and expressed. As for the stove burners, i have 1 i use for everything and 1 i use for eggs (special pan too) even though there are 4 on my countertop.
Imane, I found you when you were streaming league in 2016. I have really enjoyed your "character arc", you're genuinely glowing! So beautiful inside and out! I've been loving the different kind of content you've been posting from the Imane channel to here. I deal with this in my personal life a lot and people see it as insecurity, but it's rather that I dont want to talk about it because I think sexuality labels are limiting what I feel and what I am. Knowing someones sexuality shouldn't matter. However I will never get offended when someone askes.

@@pokimane Not sure about US gas stoves, but our electric/ceramic ones in Europe tend to have the biggest one bottom left side, so that's where the frying pan goes (ergo, the most used one) then the bottom right and top ones are medium/small sized

Great Video Poki!! As for the stove burner thing....I totally thought it was normal to use the same burner?? I normally use the right front burner usually. Maybe its because im left handed so its feels more comfy for when I lift the pan/pot? I liked seeing what assumptions people have about you, and the wild obsessions people can develop because of these assumptions. By the end of the day, you will stay and be you, and that's what matters! I hope you, and the rest of the viewers have a fantastic upcoming weekend!

I loved this so so much! the one thing that i admire most about you is how practical, intelligent, and prudent you are in certain situations. I like the idea of just not giving an answer because, for example, with respect to one's sexuality, it does not matter (even though it does to some and it is important to ask for ppl's pronouns) and it deconstructs the idea that one's sexuality/gender or whatever it might be is what defines you. These abstract concepts that do not allow the proper freedom that people deserve need to be broken down and the way you think is the place to start! As for myself, when people ask for my sexual orientation, which is very often for some reason, I never give them a straightforward answer. It's always "I'm exploring," or "That's nun of your business" (that made me laugh out loud lmaoo). (Also, just for fun, with respect to the stove burner, I also use one specific one (bottom left) and only use the other ones when that one is taken lol, but I do not apologize to inanimate objects, I curse at them when they come in my way bc it's obviously not my fault xD).

I never realized I had a favorite stove burner until she brought this up. I use multiple pans usually but my pans all go to the same spots even though I have more than 4 available.

you are absolutely amazing and always love watching your vids and live. I don't really talk much in your chat but am always there supporting you and loving you for how strong and wonderful you are
I use the front two burners on my stove most often. There's a smaller sized one for personal meals or smaller pans, and I use the larger one for larger meals or larger pans. There's nothing weird about just using one burner, especially if you're only ever having one pan going at a time/are cooking for yourself.

I observed that the issues you usually face are because some people (viewers or other streamers), have these assumptions about you and when they don't get the satisfaction of being right, they then throw a fit by making false rumours about you. Bottomline, some people just really suck.
