Average has always been my prefered method but for something mild color cast, Auto color is a pleasing correction. Neutralize, like you said, is a great choice for 'some' images.
Gday anthony. It’s not often you get the students teaching the Teacher. I like the second idea Anthony, I just feel that in the other option there is too much blue for my liking but I’m not finding any fault in actual photo and I have no negativity towards your tutorial. Stay safe and well.
Interesting...I tried both methods on a couple of landscape photos i had. I guess it all depends on the "look" you're going for. and YES it does depend on the photo too. I supposed you could still do some adjustments from there also. Great video Anthony....Thank you.
I would love to see a video on how to fix a color bleed. I have a photo I took off someone in a gym and I didn’t notice the yellow line running behind his head, so his skin tone is very yellow.
...and another one: create a solid color adjustment layer with the "Color of the cast" and change the blending mode to Divide. Minor adjustments after, by the color picker, changing brightness (solid color layer)... Cheers. Nice Channel btw
Hi Anthony, have you done a video on removing color casts on people’s face - eg lights at parties etc.I have a photo with purple color cast on a person’s face.
I found this method of removing a color cast. Let me know how you think it works. 1. Duplicate the layer 2. Go to "Filter" -> Blur -> Average 3. You will now get a new layer 4. Invert this new layer 5. Change Blend mode to soft light ~~~~ That's it! The color cast is gone. Let me know if it works for you.

This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Anthony for the helpful and informative tutorial! God bless you and good luck!
thanks Anthony. The neutralise option worked a treat on bluish snow!
I was just looking for this the other day and couldn't find it.
Thank goodness you posted it again!
Isn't there another way? I can't find that video
Never mind I found it lol

Anthony, thanks for the vlog. I usually used Phil's method. Glad to know about your other methods.
thank you,.... way too easy... than some other tutorial..
Thank you so much!!
Your videos have been extremely helpful to me.
VERY GOOD AND EASY, THANKS
Very helpful. Thank you.
Way cool!
Thank you, Anthony. You could also go to the raw filter and use the white balance eye dropper. Many different ways to skin a cat
Thanks!
Thank you Greg!!!

Thank you for watching!
you can allso run Neutrallize fist. then you run auto color on top of that or auto curves.
Great to know all the methods. Currently I use Luminar AI, does a good job.
I would love to see a video on how to fix a color bleed. I have a photo I took off someone in a gym and I didn’t notice the yellow line running behind his head, so his skin tone is very yellow.
Does this only work on landscapes? Or portraitures as well?
thanks :) nice way

Many ways to skin a cat in Photoshop. Can also use the Curves/Levels Auto options
¡Gracias!
Thank you!
Hi Anthony, have you done a video on removing color casts on people’s face - eg lights at parties etc.I have a photo with purple color cast on a person’s face.
No I have not but I'll see if I can come up with something.
Hi Anthony, out of the topic, can you be kind and tell me what plugin you use to create the zooming and arrows effect in your videos?
I think for all three method, the layers must be pixel, and not smart objects. Is there an easy way to correct color in photoshop with smart objects?
I suppose you could then change the opacity of the top layer and hit middle ground
Yes, definitely and I should have mentioned that.
I found this method of removing a color cast. Let me know how you think it works.
1. Duplicate the layer
2. Go to "Filter" -> Blur -> Average

that voice crack 😂
match color disable, why?
Phil's way does not work if the image stands as a smart object
75% of the video is useless. dive in to the subject rather than keep turning around it to make the video longer
