Here's a tip to add years to the life of your microwave. Most microwave failures are caused by the door safety switches failing. Always "Pause" the cooking or wait for the microwave to stop before opening the door. If you open the door while it is cooking, the safety switch will stop the cooking but there will be a tiny spark or arc across the switch which eventually will cause one of them to fail.
I can’t believe there’s people that open the microwave door while it’s running!? Hello. Microwaves. Not the best thing for you to directly expose yourself to. 😳
I've been using those protein puffs for a couple of years. Add them to melted chocolate with a little bit of coconut oil or butter, and spread out on some parchment paper in a baking dish. Chill until hardened and break into Nestles Crunch bars. You literally cannot tell the difference. Personally, I like to mix milk and dark chocolate from choc zero for this.
My tiny suggestion- instead of coconut oil, add melted butter to the chocolate. The coconut oil melts at a much lower temperature,. The butter would help the chocolate stay solid longer once the cookies are out of the freezer.
I found a recipe for keto marshmallow cream. It was super easy to make and literally tasted like normal marshmallow cream. It's basically heavy Cream, sweetener, vanilla whipped to soft peaks then add a very small amount of Zanthum gum and whip it up.
Pork King Good has dessert pork rinds which are amazing! I've used them for a Rice Crispy substitute in several recipes and it's great! Going to try this recipe soon! Most of our favorite recipes come from your channel.
Hi ladies! Just a quick word about the company CHOCZERO. The products from this company are outstanding and the customer service is even better. I made a sizable order last week, and because of our beastly heat wave, every package of chips was melted into a messy ball. I took pictures and reported the problem to their customer service, and bless their hearts, they sent me a refund toot sweet! I will be reordering these items when the weather cools. Just wanted to give CHOCZERO a big grateful shoutout!
I love ChocZero and during warm weather I choose the special delivery option. They put the chocolate chips in a insulated bag with an ice pack or two. Works great!
@@patriciaharding7468 it didn’t work this time. The ice packs had melted in the heat and were actually hot. The chips were all melted together. But this company is so very wonderful! Their customer service is absolutely wonderful!
I tried the provolone ravioli! WONDERFUL! I filled them with 1lb ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp cinnamon. The seasoned meat was fried up with half of a finely minced large onion. Sauce was 1tblspoon lemon juice and 6 tblspoons heavy cream with a pinch of salt and a pinch of garlic powder, mixed and then drizzled on ravioli. DELISH. Feel free to share.
“You need to be willing to look outside the box,” as you held the box & then opened it! 😂 (Please note that I’m a longtime fan, I just got a kick out of this!) 🙃😘
TIPS?! Grama says wet your hands just a little when smooshimg RK squares into a pan. Works with no sogginess. Maybe adding a half tbs butter to marshmallows will keep them from being too sticky. I love the protein doodads, they have chocolate, too. I put them in my magic spoon RC squares and in melted Lilly’s chocolate and they harden into krackle bars. These cookies look awesome! You two are awesome!
So I made these cookies again and this time I tried cutting up the marshmallows (instead of melting them) as a few commenters mentioned, and it was not that easy. Very sticky, leaving residue on the knife which made it harder to cut. I coated it with butter but it didn’t really help. It was just laborious. But it worked and I just added them to the dough mixture. They didn’t melt as much as I thought they would so there are bigger marshmallow pieces still in the cookie. Still super yummy. Going to keep these in rotation.
Thanks for the video. I made these and substituted (cause can’t get my hands on those puffs 😕) with Catalina Crunch cereal and they were awesome. Only thing I’m gonna do next time is just chop up the marshmallows and add them to the dough. My efforts were as messy as you guys and I even tried the trick of adding them to melted butter like you do when making rice crispy squares (from days gone by). My husband loved them and he isn’t doing low carb at the moment and hasn’t liked too many of my keto cookies to date. But he really liked these ones. Cheers.
Seeing how difficult the melted marshmallows were, I would probably add the unheated marshmallows & cereal to the cookie dough & let the baking melt the marshmallows.
Ive been using those protein puffs for over a year.... the unflavored ones i use in my cereal and was considering using them for Rice Krispies treats !!
I make clean and keto ingredient foods recipes every day; but once a week, I will make a dessert that still is keto but not so clean ingredients, but it's my once a week sweet indulgence. Just one serving, the rest goes to the family or neighbors. I have been looking for keto marshmallows, I didn't think they made them, but today I found out they do thanks to your podcast! Thanks for sharing your recipes and ideas with us! I
"They just tasted crunchy." OK, that's 2 for 2 in a row hilarious after the whole, "It doesn't taste blue" thing. Now I want to taste colors and textures, too! Just imagine all we're missing! 🤣 Love the creative options ideas on this one (I think Dr Berg did a video on whey jacking up insulin levels?) I like the Catalina Crunch idea, especially! These babies are a must try! 👍
I would love it if you would make the cake by Bamboo Love. It is her last video and it is called Vanilla Cloud Cake. This recipe as a pudding layer, but I really want to know if the cake part would be good to use for something like strawberries and Cool Whip. Thank you for introducing us to her channel.❤️❤️
@@ketotwinsI agree with you. I like her recipes because she isn’t missing a bunch of different flours and fibers together. I don’t like a science project. Plus the benefits of the carb count being almost nonexistent. Keep up the great job ladies.
Rice Krispie treats have butter melted into the marshmallow before you add the rice krispies. Maybe adding butter to your marshmallows before melting would make them easier to handle when you add the protein puffs.
At the 7 minute mark-what if you prepared the Rice Krispie treat like you would ordinarily-Pat into pan, chill and cut into chunks and add the chunks to the dough?
Traditional Rice Krispy treats recipe calls for butter and marshmallows to be melted on the stove. I wonder if the keto marshmallows would melt better if melted with butter on the stove....
I just watched a RUclips short of cooking @ Pam's place where she made chips using carton egg whites, spray oil in a muffin tin, 1 tablespoon in each with seasonings, and baked them. I will give that a try but it looks like something you might like to try too!
Hey girls! Love, love, love your vibe. Here's a tip, find a recipe to make dipping chocolate with canning wax. I use it for a different cookie and it isn't as melty (not a word?😂) in your hand.
Two Notes: one, add a little oil (butter or coconut oil) when microwaving the marshmallows. Second -choc zero just came out with fluff!!!! I haven't tried it yet but it may make the rice crispy part easier.
This looks great. However today I was too lazy, so I stopped the video melted some chocolate chips and no sugar peanut butter and dipped pork rinds in while I watched the rest of the video! 😂 But definitely will try this in the future! That made me think 🤔 I wonder if dipping them in peanut butter chocolate would also be good !
Sorry, I don’t know your names yet because I just found this channel, but the one on the right got crazy eyes ( @11:55 ) when she tasted the cookie! LMAO!! THAT is the kind of endorsement a cookie needs. Now I want that cookie.

Some people won't enjoy this suggestion; however I found puffed soybeans that reminded me of rice bubbles. Another person in the grocery store said she uses them like rice bubbles. Potentially lower carb than rice 😊
Puffed millet would have more carbs than the protein puffs or pork rinds, but it has less than half the carbs of Rice Krispies. I don't know if that would be low enough to be keto. There would be 8.25 carbs in 3/4 cup.
Girls I can't have almond flour so I'm gonna try to use some of that big bag of bamboo fiber I have instead I'll let you know how it goes I have those puffs from when Stephen and Keto was making them five years ago lol never been opened I hope they're still good
