It's now 2024 and I still take my Lumia 1020 with me on holiday as there is something about the pictures that is like old film cameras from my youth, I love the fact that the camera did the "best shot" ages before Google worked it out last year :) Don't get me wrong I loved my Pixel 2XL and am having fun with the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 pro I have but my N1020 will always have a special part in my tech heart.

This is the type of professional presentation and demonstration of a camera phone that I want to see of the Lumia 950. But Microsoft didn't push that camera at all despite it being much better than even the 1020's camera. I have both and I love the 950 and I want to see what it's capable of in the hands of people who know how to properly work a camera to its fullest potential.
Wow, I did not think there was such a big difference in exposure between Lumia 920 and 1020. incredible even the difference between 1020 and the DSLR. Besides, really beautiful landscapes :)

Watching it in 2023 is unbelievable that this video was shot with a Nokia Lumia 1020 a phone from 2013. Just look at the video quality it's amazing you can really compare it to a known filming phones like iPhone.😮
I can wait for the next version. It looks amazing for a camera phone, but I want something that is 25-50 percent better with filming. Couple more hardware upgrades with very good software upgrades and this could be a viable choice for the person who wants to take good pictures just for fun. You may be able to do videos that would work for a start-up RUclips channel...after the upgrades.
Thanks. No sharpness added to any of the videos. The clips in the short are just colorgraded and some are added warp stabilizer. The videos after the short are straight out of the cameras :)

Actually really liked the look of the 808 in that backlit shot. Might have just been better exposed but it seemed to have a bit more dynamic range.

Hi Sir great video, how did you get the 1020 camera not to change the brightness & darkness as you move the phone? Exposure keep changing as you move.
