Bruh I had to take a seat when the flute came in. The sound is absolutely *amazing*. Whether it's your microphone, some effects you put on after recording or some arcane wind player stuff, it feels wholly professional. Reharmonisation is so on-point as well. My only criticism is using the Picardi third at 4:47. I started scrolling down to comment because I thought it was the end of the video, and then suddenly another 16 bars. Could just be me. I love the piece anyway. EDIT: Oh gosh you started off in the insaneintherain jazz challenge as well. It's actually great to see you develop, since I've had all this time and barely started on making my second arrangement.
When the Song of Storm begins, it reminded me a lot of John Coltrane's "My Favourite Things", and even the way you played the flute reminded me a bit of Coltrane's playing. Was that intentional?
