uuuh if you don't mind may i criticize your work a little -flute sounds a kinda airy (maybe low pass it a little?) -flute also sounds pretty sharp at 1:00 -also sounds like you're not utilizing enough range on the flute - feels too repetitive, too same-y -arrangement sounds super subdued for a game that's about shooting literally everything as chaos explodes around you (might be just me - maybe that was your idea?) -arrangement feels really kinda simple for my taste, you have the bass playing literally the same note over again, standard harmonies, repetitive melodic lines, etc. -i feel like the synth kinda detracts a bit - dynamics can't really be applied to it, and it's way too piercing imo -also feel like it's not utilizing standard jazz harmonies and chords but then again jazz is super amorphous -i don't know, i just feel like there wasn't a lot of boundary pushing here tbh i'm probably not qualified to this because i'm in the same boat as you progress wise, i only have a little bit of jazz composition/arrangement experience if my comments make you feel discouraged, please don't feel that way. i criticize because i feel like creators could use the feedback instead of "hey that's really great" because feedback is a surefire way to improve, and plus finding errors in other people's also helps me as well. please understand that i want you, and all the others i criticize, to succeed. your tropicala cover was pretty sick though, kek
