I have been involved in building flight simulators for many years, yours looks great, but may I make a suggestion? make a cardboard template of your wall and have a mirror cut to size, fasten it to the wall and you will instantly have the other half of your flightdeck. sounds crazy! but I have done this before and it works really well. regards.
I have always wanted to build a simulator cockpit, I want to make a simulator cockpit for the 737 or A320, I already got a honeycomb flight yoke, Logitech throttle and thrustkmaaster rudder pedals but for flight sim cockpits like your one I would need the thrustmaster yoke because it moves like a real boeing yoke and then the proper boeing throttle and on and on, That guy who makes the homemade cockpit stuff is amazing, The overhead panel he is releasing soon is gonna be a game changer so you can possibly start up the plane with the overhead panel and I hope you get the little screens for the bit in the middle, Nice video amazing A320 cockpit in your house!
@@TheFlightDoc NOOOO WAY I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE BOEING BUILD!!!, Honestly I just want to go to your house and try out your flight simulator so bad lol because I live in Scotland so I am like 7 hours away from you lol cause I'm pretty sure you live in England.
Would love it if winwing makes an entire cockpit and frames and so on. Would be nice to be able to upgrade your sims piece by piece for a good price ans spread out cost.
I enjoyed the video. I was a little disappointed that you said we'd get the price and you only gave the price of one piece. Otherwise, it was a very nice video. Been looking at Skalarki and a full build is over $30K . I like what you've done with the Stream Decks; I think that is brilliant. Oh.. Thanks for the heads up on the forth-coming overhead. I'll be sure to watch for it. Keep 'em coming. Ciao.
The price breakdown is on my patreon, a free document is already there :) Appreciate the comment! I was considering Skalarki beforehand too, but i’m going to run with this for a while now 😀 the streamdecks really make things a lot simpler :) SL3 (santi) is a great guy to deal with, and his work is top notch, you can’t go wrong!
You mentioned "This Website" for the MIP cad cams drawings and CNCing these panels for the cockpit...but you haven't listed it in your links section!...I need this link please. Also, why why why does anybody and everybody just do A320's or B737's?!!.....these are little toys and pre-historic planes now!..I'm looking to build the B787 (a real mans aeroplane). Also please link the "making of" this sim especially from the rear, when available.
@ Thanks for taking the time to respond. I’m about to return to msfs after years of absence. Your videos and others have played a big part in that decision. Been thinking about Boeing or Airbus for a point of focus. Your reply is helpful.
At this point you should just buy an A320😂
NEXT VIDEO: FLIGHT SIMMER SPENDS ENTIRE LIFE SAVINGS ON…A320 ENGINE (V2500 plz)
You still need a tiller!!
Saw it on Reddit a few days ago! I was waiting for this vid!!
Hope you enjoyed it!

But he already has two thirds of a cockpit so a mirror would give him one and one third cockpits !
Can I just say, that looks absolute beautiful. Very nice job.
The ptu tho 😂 2:28
AMAZING job…..enjoy it! U deserve it.
You my friend, have built the dream of many future pilots and aviators😍

Now to try mixed reality!

You should have a sticker of the other half on the wall
Awesome!
Thanks bro!! It was a lot of work to get it to this point! 😅
That chair is something, alright 🤣

I thought the second part was going to include the other half of the airplane 😂
CRM is gonna be tough with your copilot in the wall.
Finally my stethoscope has some use mid flight 🤣
Ive dreamt of converting my garage for this for years.
Its very doable
8:29 For price - aka 5k $
👏👏👏
amazing bro lol btw dont take this as a disrespect look slike u took a bite out of the other section btw can u mount it on a full motion pannel?
LOL
I am planning it rn, its a monster undertaking though, we shall see 😅

Check the description
you make us neckbeard nerds look cool man.. well done
Thanks 🤣
The amount of people who call it a McDu. I dont see the isse. No doubt the EFIS should be E-F-I-S.
Will this fit in the loo? You know multitasking...
I reckon, where theres a will theres a way… it’d certainly be quite the video 🤣
It would be crap 😂

@theflightdoc New to your channel. Can I ask why the A320?
Easier to do than boeing with more availability of parts :)
