From the looks of it, the joygrip colors match the regular Neon Blue and Yellow joycons (a plus for me since I planned on getting those joycons). But it's unfortunate that the thumbgrip they provide is a blue and green-I get that they want to match the green instead of the yellow (yeah, I'm one of those very particular about joycon and accessory color).
@@repixelated Nice. Takes a lot of effort to think through that. I do hope that the colors match with the Blue and Neon Yellow joycon bundle though.

I was thinking of getting a switch since I never owned one I saw splatoon 3 switch I was in ❤ with it but the next day it was all sold it
Because I was 1 month late it was released a month before but for me lucky I got the scarlet and violet switch with skull and co neo case it’s really good compared to satisfye
How does the grip case feel being docked? Does it feel rough and have a hard time getting in the dock or is it relatively easy with no issues?
Kinda difficult to see, but is the crystal grip's color is like smoke black?

I bought this edition of skull and co gripcase online and the black crystal case turned yellow after sitting in their warehouse for too long. It being a limited edition was so hard to find it in my country and once I got it, I was a little disappointed. Anybody know how to get rid of that yellow hue? I also try searching for the black crystal case, but I have no luck.
Oh, sorry to hear the one you got has started to yellow-which is odd since it was originally sitting in that warehouse. Mine is fine still. From what I know, these “limited” clear black cases have only been issued for Splatoon 3-but Skull & Co. has since stopped supporting less variants of this GripCase. They only do limited NeoGrip cases now. In regards to getting rid of the yellow, there used to be a technique to restore old retro consoles that faded into yellow (NES, SNES, GB, Saturn, etc) called “Retr0Brite” but it applied to certain plastics made during the 90’s era. It involved using hydro peroxide and UV light. You can see more of that process on RUclips. Not sure how it’ll fare with the clear TPU plastics of Skull & Co but worth investigating. Good luck.

The left side is obviously blue not purple. I'm looking at their pictures of this case on their website right now and the colors they show and what you have are completely different. I was considering this case because I've heard a lot of good reviews of it...but if they send me blue instead of purple and it doesn't match my Spatoon Switch then forget it.
I emailed them and asked if the left grip is supposed to be purple and they replied letting me know that it is blue. So if you order this, expect the left grips to be blue. They do sell purple grips which seem to be a way better match
@@mannyN54 Thanks for letting me know. The night I left this comment I decided to get their clear case with the white grips instead as the back of the Joycons and the dock are white and the clear TPU might show the design on the back of the Switch better than the smoked TPU case. Maybe They'll reconsider the blue grip in the future and give us the purple GAWX grip that actually matches.
@@PowerSynopsis Same here, I mainly just wanted the smoked case and not the clear one but the clear one looks good in person. Also the bundle with the carry case comes out $10 cheaper
why nobody shows what color is in the controller settings? Does the switch registers the splatoon color or N did it cheap
It does show the right color the left is a dark purple and the left is a neon yellow

How your black grip case so far does it turn yellow?
It’s still same color as day 1: clear black. I think the standard clear cases are more prone to yellowing over time. It’s strange cause S&C’s website says it will never yellow. 😓

Yeah all clear case will turn yellow so try to avoid that. Thx for reply!
I prefer this smoke clear version as it’s the only release ever S&C did. It’s a unique color.
where did the flipcase tutorial go?
Unfortunately, I removed it a few months ago. There were so many dislikes/thumbs down for that video-I guess people didn’t like me (cleanly) hacking two cases to make it into a better one. Sorry… 😓
