Fun fact. Jetfire's cockpit is accessible by bending the nose of the plane and lifting up on the blue clear plastic piece. you can remove the engine inside to put a titan master in the cockpit. We love siege jet fire 🎉🎉🎉

Fantastic overview. Still can't believe in the last two years of collecting after a 15 year hiatus I've gone all in on the Commander Class releases save the soon to be released 86 Optimus Prime, and reissue Siege Jetfire which are preordered for fall. This review mirrors my thoughts almost entirely though the verdict for Jetfire is still undecided. Bottom of the list for me is Rodimus which was interestingly my first. While a lot of reviewers describe him as Voyager with a trailer, I find with the more recent downscaling, and advanced engineering he's closer to a modern day leader than anything. While I love the robot mode, and weapons accessories, the trailer as a whole just has no real further purpose and unfortunately makes up so much of the price point. Motormaster as a Voyager is awful in quality, but makes up for it in his towering mode as Menasaur though his weapons are lackluster, and you still need the other four Stunticons to complete the overall look. Magmatron is three dinosaurs that combine very solidly into one impressively evil looking guy, but so much of the articulation is compromised by inanely kibbled he is. The rubbery sword isn't great but the award for worst rubbery sword in the existence of Transformers goes to the original Cybertron Vector Prime as well as his misshapen wings. Never attempted the combined Dino mode, as I prefer to have him just stand in place and look meacing in robot mode. Skylinx I got earlier in the year and he's about perfect in that he's solid, fun, wonderfully detailed, and articulated. Ultra Magnus for the same reasons makes second, but not a fan of the compromises made for the sake of being able to tear him apart. The feature is nice nostalgia bait but completely unnecessary, and a feature I've never felt compelled to use. Armada Prime without any compromises to any of the modes offered, and maintaining show accuracy despite no red eyes in super mode or minicon is the absolute best Commander Class has offered yet. Moving forward 86 Prime I feel may be one down from Magnus, as the quality I feel will be on par with Armada Prime but as a whole displayable package he'll be another Leader Class figure with another box trailer accessory similar to Rodimus. Looking further ahead. 2025 Devastator will be a two Leader pack consisting of Long Haul, and Hook in one Commander Class package. requiring I guess four more deluxe figures to complete him.
@coffeeinhandproductions3238 I agree almost completely with your rankings here, swapping around motormaster and rodimus is the only point in which our opinions differ, but I am genuinely impressed with just how good each of these figures manage to be in their own rights, very excited for the ones that are yet to come too. And I'm holding out hope for either a big convoy or a silverbolt from next year's run of broad chug
In regards to the Armada Prime combined mode shoulder ratchet, I think they used a really shitty soft ratchet that unfortunately I don't think we can get to easily without heating up the pins and removing them. I think they used the same philosophy that they did TM2 Megatron's shoulders. As in, I opened TM2 Megatron's shoulder and the plastic tooth they use for the soft ratchet absolutely demolished the gear inside because it's too hard of a plastic. I have kind of the same issue with my Prime, but It's fine enough that I'm going to leave it alone until I get my reissue whenever he ships.
At this point he is out in Hong Kong. Pretty solid vid, wish I could grab Jetfire and Skylynx or SG Jetfire, maybe one day.

I only collect G1 so I didnt get Armada Prime or Magmatron. However with the appearance of SS86 Optimus will be the best commander class to date with Jetfire being 2nd barely nudging by Skylynx.
86 prime does look extremely good, I'll be getting him on release
Love the video overall. However, the quality and consistency of the annoying was annoying to deal with. I get that with the layout it was going to be challenging. I offer this as information to consider in the future, not as trying to tear down your great video.
Unfortunately my only option for audio were Bluetooth laveliar mics, would've liked something a little fancier but I'm happy with the result
Great video!!! Great topic!! I have them all except Rodimus and Magmatron. I’m thinking there may be a studio 86 Rodimus coming eventually. Will it be better? Better paint? Better face sculpt?

I have a feeling they night go down that route but I'm not sure how different they'd go, part of me feels like the difference would come in the whole figure converting into the van mode and he'd be alot bigger like 86 prime is but I'm not sure how well that'd go, something like dx9 carry at chug scale

Oddly enough your siege Jetfire video pushed me over to buying it, and when I got my hands on it, it was love at first sight. Now we’ll see if this one pushes me to buy SS86 Ultra Magnus (aftermarket is terrible, but I’ve done worse)
