Pirlo was a master tactician and had a terrific skill set. For all you coaches who don't seem to recognize anything but speedy out of control footballers, go watch some Pirlo tapes and learn how a control game is far more advantageous.
The most underrated player in Italian Football history He is 1 of the greatest of all time He will b always in my top 5 of All times El Fenomeno,Zizou, Ronaldinho,Pirlo,Maldini legends xI
When you are a striker on his team, just run into space, Pirlo will find you with his pass, no matter where you are. That is how Italy won 06 World Cup.
Nice video! All I can say is that Pirlo is the best regista ever! What a player! Underrated and unappreciated for quite a while until Euro 2012, as he was overlooked a bit with Italy due to the presence of Totti (even though Pirlo delivered were Totti disappointed) and with Milan due to Kakà, but he was certainly one of the best passers and playmakers of all time, and he won it all! Not particularly quick, strong, hard-working, or gifted defensively, but he was such a stylish, technical, and creative player, who had unparallaled vision and long passing ability, and he could really pull the strings in midfield! Plus he had a great shot from distance and was an amazing free kick taker!
@@Libyansamurai7811 Sorry, but why, what do you mean exactly, in a negative sense, or in the way he played (like how Djorkaeff was nicknamed the snake)? Because if it's the former, all because he left Milan for Juve when they basically let him go for free and when Allegri wasn't willing to play him in is favoured role because he thought he was too old, that's not fair to say. I know that Milan fans are annoyed at him for that, but he was in his 30s and gave his all for Milan, and they didn't really try hard to keep him, and any true milanista would appreciate what he did for the team during their glory period when he was at his peak. And any Italy fan will recognise how important he was in Italy's 2006 World Cup victory.

Wow what a greatly produced video, I'm honestly surprised you don't have more subscribers. Could you maybe do a video on John Terry or Didier drogba or Ashley cole?
Great player, truly amazing. As for the trophy cabinet i think you ciuld've been more generous... Having won the top continental and international trophies. What did he lack achieving? Yet he's ranking pretty high on your table, not sure he should be higher.
how can he have a 7/10 for consistency when he played 10 plus years at the highest level and could u also stop using the argument against the players u grade that they haven't played outside of a league or country it's kind of annoying like i remember when loyalty was something to be admired , otherwise fantastic vid as always
IN MY OPINION, he is the best midfielder of all time. I mean MIDFIELDER. Not cam, which obviously zidane gets. I consider cam a completely different position, as they often score goals more than assist. What do other people feel about this opinion, I wonder?
Look bro ur videos are good but u gotta show clips for the topic that you are talking about when you are talking about that topic. Like don’t speak about the UCL final and at the same time show us some random seria A clips. You get me?
@@manishshakya7252 that's simply not true and you're a generalist. You don't take into account the league they play, the teammates they had and most importantly their style of play. Xavi makes 50+ passes a game in one touch, short moves, only a meter or two away, that blows up his stats. In barcas tika taka style of play, if you look on paper xavi seems more accurate and proficient, but it's bc of his team and the league he plays in, where it's weak with opponents and barca has been overly dominant. Pirlo controls the pace of the game, he controls two teams, he's not just a piece in the match. Xavi is phenomenal, I don't downplay his abilities, but he was lucky where he played with who he played. Pirlo elevated everyone around him. It's a different animal.
@@manishshakya7252 Xavi individually isn't better. 1. Pirlo could play in any system with any player. He played with Gattuso and Inzaghi none of whom were very good technically. Xavi only survives when others around him are technically excellent. 2. No one cared for who Xavi was before Pep came along. Xavi was 28 at that time. He achieved great things after that but Pirlo was ever present from his young age. 3. Xavi was a bit of a coward. I've seen his matches where he doesn't break the line to feed forwards. Now u may think it's tactical, well, he passes the ball horizontally to Iniesta or Messi who then play the same pass that Xavi could've played without need for adding 1 more pass. 4. Pirlo controlled by midfield by himself, Xavi needed Busquets and Iniesta besides himself. 5. This was a stat that I found on net, basically a pic. In 2011, Xavi created 2 chances per 90, Pirlo created 3 chances p90.

@@bifftannen66 He played for milan for over 10 years, its not the same lol. He played piss poor for milan his last season there, milan played 4-3-1-2 he had alot of ground to cover as a deep laying playmaker in that formation and didnt have the legs to do it anymore. However at Juve where they played with 5 defender he didnt have to cover as much ground and could just sit and do his passing game. Which worked for a couple of extra years. Its not rocket science. This guy, was without a question one of the best midfielders ever. No Pirlo, no party!
One of the world's greatest midfielders. Now he is the new Juve manager.
Indeed, great timing to drop a video on him, probably temporary tho
1 year later, sadly he got sacked and today is Xavi' first game as FC Barcelona's manager
