- #246. Turning Over A NEW LEAF.....Or An OLD ONE! THIS IS CRAZY!
In todays Resin Art video we utilize our silicone mat to produce resin art that would ordinarily be very difficult or even impossible to create in conventional ways!
Imagine the textures we can achieve by dusting around objects and then transferring them using this resin technique! The color combos and styles are limitless for our resin art! If using epoxy resin, you could follow this exactly, it will just take a little longer!
You can dust flowers, leaves, stamps and simply transfer them with less risk of mess!

The gold I used was from the sets below but a gold pen may work or even normal gold mica.
In the UK the nail powder sets are labelled differently, mine was a mixed material set but I have matched the color selection to the US listing and they are listed as Chrome and Pearl powders.

Beautiful! I love the look of both for different things. But the black background one reminds me of all the trees in the mountains here in Tennessee, US in the fall. Gorgeous!

I love the black background the best, but the white background reminds me of youngsters that love their mermaids, unicorns & princesses & this would make a fab piece of jewellery to go with that theme. For a neon colours, it’s turned out quite a bold pastel. Both are beautiful & I love that finished piece a lot. I hope to give it a try soon myself. Thanks Daniel for the inspiration 😊

You could put the coloured leaf skeleton in a cabochon, with gold then a black backing. You would just need to trim the leaf after mounting it and make sure the top coat encapsulated the cut edges.

They’re both beautiful, I prefer the Autumn one as well, I love Fall colors. I wonder what it would look like if the gold mica wasn’t applied and the backing was done in a brown or a dark bronze? The brown veins should look like tree branches. I have no idea what it would do to the other colors, I’ve never backed anything with brown before.😆 Great idea as always Daniel.❤
