    So since TBC (The Burning Crusade) not much has happened to Outland. We all know that Outland is what remains of the once lush planet known as Draenor as we have seen in Warlords of Draenor.
    However even in TBC Outland was in a really sad state and from what we have learned not only is it just floating around in the Twisting Nether it is also constantly degrading, meaning it is only a matter of time before it finally falls apart.
    In this video, I quickly cover the lore of Outland and then give my take on what happened to outland.

      I'm predicting that they're going to find a way to associate the story of Outland falling apart with the Void, Void Lords, and potentially the Old Gods. How? I'm not sure. But the direction that WoW's story is going leaves less and less villains out in the WC universe. The largest and most immediate threat to Azeroth is currently the Void and Old Gods, and as such, I won't be surprised if this Void threat finds its way as a major threat to Outland and, through Outland, Azeroth.

    Outland is like a fractured Australia, floating through the void and loosely held together by god knows what. It's not even a planet. -
    As far as relevance, I don't think we saw anything in recent expansions aside from the Warlock Order Hall ("green fire") bit, and Thrall's retirement in Nagrand. Demon Hunter lore is a given, of course. But that's about it aside from drawing parallels between Outland/Draenor [timeline].
    -
    I doubt we'll see anything more on Outland unless it's a cliff note about evacutation to other planets. I mean.. we saw other races sneak into Azeroth from Draenor in the Mag'har Allied Race bit (look closely at their cinematic arrival: Saberon and the plant-folk show up in the background and quickly run away).

The Mechanar, the Bothicar and the Arcatraz are special purpose facilities but they should be able to travel, and the castle itself could be repaired and become operable once again, with them the travel between the worlds will be easier and possibly become the possibility of introduce new worlds or dimensions to face the void.

    I like to think a new Outland Horde rose up during the absence of the Alliance and Thrall's Horde, the Mag'har united clans being the backbone of it. The demon energy eventually burns out in the Fel orcs and so the Bonechewers and Bleeding Hollow are back, but greener and meaner than before. Arakkoa and some ogre tribes are subjugated, as well as any remnants of the Illidari.

    With Outland dying of its damage and Alternate Draenor dying since its side-arm of the river of time is drying up(my theory), I would love to see both worlds merge to get a healed version(slightly overworked Alternate Draenor). Thus we would get the best of both worlds(Portals to other worlds and Uncursed Arrakoa) and potentially more continents on this world.

    was tbc 15 years ago in in game time?

    • @tylerp5259
      @tylerp5259 5 лет назад +3

      Rex Noct don’t know how old Moira’s son was in Cata, but I’m assuming he was at most a year old. By the end of MoP he was apparently 6-7 and by the end of Legion when he woke Magni up he was 10, so depending on how long WotLK was, TBC was around 11+ years before BFA. (Note that this is just a guess)

    • @tylerp5259
      @tylerp5259 5 лет назад +2

      I’m also using Dagran (Moira’s son) as an example because he’s one of the only characters I can find a somewhat accurate age for. Assuming Dagran was born in Cata though, he’d be the same age as Wrathion. (Off topic)

    • @tylerp5259
      @tylerp5259 5 лет назад +1

      Rex Noct it also gets confusing because some timelines have 10 years between TBC and Legion, and 4 between Cata and Legion so there’s really no way to know for sure. But it’s atleast 11+

    Someone/people (it doesn’t matter if it’s the inhabits of Azeroth and Outland, the original resurrected titans, the Azeroth titan and Elune working together, or a combination thereof) should just plug up the Maelstorm with Outland, effectively fusing them together, that’d kill two birds with one stone.

    this is another reason WOD sucked so bad. it didn't even try to match outland. in outland there was the zone neitherstorm. in that zone there were biomes of forests from before the chaos. that was preserving the wild life that use to live there. but in WOD that very same place has no forest, its all dry. the orc starting zone use to be snow, but then became bladespire with all the spikes and dragon skeletons that were not in WOD. they didn't even try to have it make sense or feel like it was the same place at all.
