If only Mac has a Netflix app
Mac does need apps .. sometimes users cannot affort 2 apple devices.

( no need to thank me ) on ios it isn’t in the 3 bar thing, their should be 3 icons on the bottom ( at least for tablet ) and click on the middle one that says downloaded and it will give you all the options. Have a great day!

Its there! I have been downloading to my iPad 3 for years on Amazon and on netflix. Great for air travel. If you are using Netflix you should see a download option in all download able content. For instance with a prime account you can open Netflix chose say Lucifer and download episodes by tapping a downpointing arrow rather than play. With Prime you can download whole series.

hi, I have been having a problem with this feature, the problem is I can't download movies or tv shows because the download button is not there, and the "my downloads option" isn't there either, please respond as soon as possible, I'm going to my aunt's hose tomorrow and she ain't got no internet, PLEASE HELP!!
The last I checked it only works on newer versions of iOS, Android and Windows 10.

If you are running Windows 10, it only works with the Netflix app from the Windows store. Not all shows can be downloaded. Good luck!
TechGumbo I have the app, and I checked on my phone and I can download the movie that I want to download but, not on my computer and the app is updated, I even unistalled it and re installed it, but whatever, I already downloaded it in my phone, but thanks for replying :)

HI I have a old labtop windows 8 I download the latest version of Netflix but I don't see an option for me to download available TV shows or movies is this not available for Windows 8? Netflix has plans that start from $9.99. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't take up too much space and you, I think should be able to download as many as you want.

I don't know of any now. There use to be a lot, but RUclips keeps making it more difficult.
+Rick I just select on my computer a video to be added to my "watch later" folder or to "favorites" and then go to either of those folders later on my phone. I have yet to try this in preparation for a long haul flight {from Australia to Europe or the USA}.
An App thats called documents then you will find the internet server on the app type the website savefromnet and then copy the link paste it in the website and It’ll download

Mostly for laptops, you download the movie while you have internet, and watch it later when you are offline

It's not a trick. It's a feature built into Netflix.
As long as you are paying for it you should be able to cast by Bluetooth or USB movies you have downloaded to your smartphone onto your laptop of via Fire stick to TV or pc.
I have worked out that I have to be kept signed in while going anywhere. It’s a shame you the downloaded programmes can’t copy into folder on the iPad screen.

Very clever of Netflix ... I'm guessing when you download it, you are not downloading it to your 'My Downloads' on your PC Hardrive, but into their own 'My Downloads' folder .... um. If I'm wrong, can you tell us if it actually downloads to your PC 'Downloads' folder? Will you be able to go to Internet Explorer and see the movie as an MP4 in your 'Downloads' yellow folder?
