What an absolutely remarkable and inspiring boy! At just 9 years old, he's showcasing wisdom and passion beyond his years. Luke's perspective on the power and importance of reading is truly enlightening. It's incredible to see such a young mind advocating for the value of books in today's society.
Luke eloquently expresses how great readers become great writers, communicators, and persuaders, ultimately contributing to the creation of good societies. His enthusiasm for reading shines through as he shares his personal adventures through various books, from classics like 'Winnetou' to beloved series like 'Harry Potter' and 'The Unwanteds'.
I love how Luke describes reading as "love in action," highlighting the endless positives it brings to his life, from impressive vocabulary to the joy of getting lost in a good story. His creative anecdotes about hiding behind flower pots and reading everywhere are both hilarious and endearing.
It's refreshing to hear Luke's call to the young generation to hold on to the art of reading amidst the distractions of modern technology. He reminds us that books can take us on adventures, introduce us to new worlds and people, and ultimately enrich our lives in countless ways.
Kudos to Luke Bakic for delivering such an impactful talk! He is certainly a bright, intelligent, and passionate advocate for the magic of reading. Here's to hoping his message inspires many others, young and old, to pick up a book and embark on their own incredible adventures.

In this TED talk, Luke Bakic talks about the importance of reading. Over the past years, he had read many books, and they all took him on such an adventure. He loved reading in places like his bed, on the move while walking, in the toilet, in queues, in vehicles, and, more importantly, at home. He hid behind various corners of his house so nobody could find him and make him do anything else. According to him, nothing is better in the universe when you have an excellent book to keep you company. Reading is love in action. He usually never had to study for spelling tests, which made his vocabulary so good that it quickly impressed any grown-up. He assumes that while modern technology wonders have their place, the young generation has to hold on to reading; it's the key to our kingdom. While Luke Bakic's love for reading is impressive, his ideas have some potential disadvantages. Firstly, excessive reading in unconventional places, like while walking or in queues, can pose safety risks. Additionally, hiding from reading instead of participating in other activities may lead to ignoring responsibilities or missing out on meaningful experiences. Finally, while reading is powerful, it's essential to realize that different individuals have different learning styles, and other forms of engagement and exploration are also beneficial. So it's just about finding the right balance.

From : landak, west kalimantan, Indonesia
    My comment are
    - Everything he said is true because it's happening right now and that's the reality
    - It is so true that without reading we would not have good societies
    - This greatly motivates me that when it comes to being a good reader we can make a writer which, a good writer will make good communication and good communication will make good speakers and good speakers will make very good persuaders
    - maybe Many children today may prefer gadgeds, intagrams, and social media over books but we have to continue to direct children that books can change themselves even the world if they are determined
Thanks for your video it so motivating for millenials
