    Do you recommend cotton over acrylic yarn?

    • @Shujun_Crochet
      @Shujun_Crochet  7 месяцев назад

      Personally I prefer the color of cotton yarn, but acrylic yarn is definitely softer, both of them can be good choices :).

    Hello.. how much yarn did you use for color green?

  • @veronicat5890
    @veronicat5890 16 дней назад

    Hello. Will 2 skeins of green color as main color (yarn: 150m/50gr Bamboo by YarnArt) be enough to finish the project? Same size as yours, same colors as yours

      don't worry about it, it looks quite ok. If you still feel the holes might be too big, you can use smaller size of hook, and add pieces of the granny square so that the chest size of this top won't be too small🥰.

    • @Shujun_Crochet
      @Shujun_Crochet  2 месяца назад

      For the main color about 80-100g, the other 2 colors less than 50g🥰.

    Love this little top.How do you size these? I want to make a size small for a woman . I also wanted to make for child sizes. How to you measure for size?

    • @veronicat5890
      @veronicat5890 7 дней назад

      You can measure it by taking a straigh t shirt that fits you a little loose (like this top fits on the model), measure it from armpit to armpit, double it. Crochet a test granny square, wash and dry it, ideally block it. Then measure its size. Devide your bust size you got from t shirt by the wideth of your granny square and you get how many squares you need to fit your size. Then you increase the number of squares by amount of rows you need for your length (2 in the video) I'm pretty sure the size on the video is S (16 granny squares: 4x2 to fit the size and 2 rows). For children size you need thinner yarn and smaller hook. Also need to move straps to fit your shoulders. Just put it on
