I love having my heart and brain in coherence. I use heart breathing where you imagine breathing through your art. So you are breathing through your heart and nose at the same time but your focus and attention is on your heart area. This feels so good to me. I love the other tips you gave. Did you know one of the reasons why being in nature helps us is that visually we get to use our long distance vision which offsets the close up vision we use all the time by looking at our phones and computers. Using our long distance vision turns on our parasympathetic nervous system and relaxes and calms us. But my favorite is what you said about having self compassion. So often we are told to have so much compassion for others. I love how you suggest that we first start with ourselves. Such wonderful and amazing tips, all of them! 🙂
