1:24 thats me! tysm for capturing my first ever fursuit parade on film, im crying writing this. i have wanted to attend anthrocon since i was eleven years old, and im nineteen now. it honestly felt surreal to be there, and my heart was pounding with joy! ty for keeping this memory archived.
Second time suiting for me, and it felt unreal! I had to wait a long time and get free from my family to be able to be at AC and it was so freaking awesome!
There's nothing like your first AC parades. It just hits different having the locals love us and cheer us on

Second time fursuiting, I was absolutely petrified but there were a lot of people who wanted to high five the wings and it was such a cool experience!! I definitely want to fursuit more in the future.
This anthrocon and fursuiting really built me up as someone who's trying to pull a lot together with life right now, and this weekend was so unforgettable and the positivity I ran across I don't feel very often. I kinda cried at the end of the day🥲

I wish I could have been in the parade!! I was just a little late to line up due to a fursuit malfunction!! (Ida the owl) my zipper broke and I spent two hours in the parking garage trying to fix it. And when I decided to just have my mom sew me into the suit and cover the seam with my scarf, my glasses decided to break in my hands just as my mom told me that line up was closed. I cried. I was so looking forward to it!!
I also got stuck outside the convention center in the heat in full fursuit which wasn’t fun. Eventually we convinced security to let me in through the registration area where the parade ended so that I could at least get out of the heat
I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a hard time, it looks like we both were struggling. Here's to a better next year!
