Well done, good thinking, I have done similar, including overflow from last tank into garden & fertilising through the tanks ❤

Thanks for this video. I just bought 4 barrel kit from bluebarrelsystems and I just received 6 bluebarrel food grade this morning. I'm excited to start this project.

I liked and subscribed specifically because of your statement at the end😂. Good video

Edit: When I say "8 or 9 gallons of water" at about 6:30, it really is 8 or 9 gallons x 5 barrels for 40-45 gallons total.

Using the hose is a good trick. Better than spending the $45 for the gauge they sell on their website. Thanks.

Indeed, and since I have three mini-systems, that would mean 3 gauges?!?

Your barrels are upside down. The scale for gallons won't work upside down unless you write the scales correctly with a permanent marker in the reverse order.

Yes--they are upside down. So the bottom of the upside down barrel (towards the ground) indicates 55 gallons, ten gallons up it would read 45 gallons, and hence, a bit below that (towards the ground) would mean that there are 8 to 9 gallons of water in each barrel. It works if you know that they are upside down, which is hard to forget, since the numbers are written upside down. I am not trying to be sarcastic, just trying to understand where you are coming from.
