Maybe stopping isn't the answer but, *for real* , don't ever try playing Spy if you aspire to have anything other than fun with your matches. You aren't gonna be content trying to win games or stuff like that when there are classes that can do it easier, faster and taking less risks. Even when I try to have fun sometimes there is just such a lack of team that not even that is possible and I need to play Engie or Pyro the next match just to relax and get my mind on track again.

From my experience, play spy whenever you like, whenever you don't want to play anything else. Or rather, whenever you want to win or have fun with more serious things, play someone else.
