I saw this a few weeks ago. Looks ideal for small & repetitive work on site. I like the compact size, compatibility w/ various brands & portability. Thanks for putting this video together. It’s nice to get a demo from a trusted fellow maker.
The attachment method is quite innovative, and I'm sure all these features took a lot of development, but that is a lot of money for a couple of brackets and a small mdf top. My home made version has all the same functionality, will take a much larger router if required, and was put together in about three hours from workshop scraps.
Some times you have to decide what you will do yourself and what you will farm out. I gave up doing doors long ago as it's almost as cheep to buy them as to build them yourself. 95% of my work is with palm size routers today. But there are times I love to bring out my PC 890. Not sure about the router table, but I'm liking the Table Extension. Also look into those LR32 Guide Plate adapters. They are great for adapting plunge bases to work on a LR32 guide rail, and for doing groves. My Makita and my PC 890 have the bases installed on the plunge bases permanently. Yes, I know TSO does not have PC adapters. I worked with the guy who originally came up with the idea and he 3D printed stuff for me as we tried out new ideas.
If you already own a Dewalt trim router and needed a table for a garage workshop for weekend woodworking, would you rather have this or the Bosch table? I want to love this but it looks like pros for the Bosch would be that it’s standalone, larger, better dust collection, and aluminum surface. Pros for the TSO would be smaller, easier to store. If this has tool-less deploy, I’d probably buy it. Requiring tools for something that attaches to the MFT is pretty silly IMO - kind of misses the mark on what makes the MFT great. Especially given that this would get in the way of using the MFT for other things when mounted.
Looks like a great option. I have a router table. I do find myself wanting something portable when I’m doing some jobs. And I do have an MFT. Gotta love TSO. They have all the cool tools.
I put the Festool CMS router module into my homemade Palk mft table. Fits both the OF1010 or OF 1400. Well worth giving it a try. Heaps of support from the big Palk table. I do like your little router module though as it has some advantages over the Festool module I think, mainly the ability to slide the fence back and forward easier than the Festool cms module.
I thought when you set the height on the JessEm wheels you set it off the metal hub, not the rubber wheel. I could be wrong, but that's what I do with the JessEm table saw wheels. I really like that about them. The wheels are unbelievably helpful in breaking down plywood if one doesn't have a sliding table saw. Perhaps they are different and not spring loaded like the table saw ones are. That really gives them some good downward pressure and also pulls the work towards the fence since they are angled slightly. Never mind. I just re-watched your video. It doesn't appear that the router wheels are spring loaded... I like my JessEm table saw wheels so much, I will probably get the router wheels someday. Thanks for the video as always.
Nice video Jason, looks like a cool product. I’ve been considering swapping out my large router table for something smaller. Just not using it as much as I used to.
Nice product for what it is but it would never replace the functionality of the Incra table you have. But if a tiny bit of space savings in your shop is worth the trade-off…thats all that matters. Also, strange that an attachment made to affix to a festool mft won’t work with their routers?
HELP! Question for you. A friend has offered to buy me any sander of my choice. 3M Or Festool? I do intend to expand and buy the smallest Festool dust extractor. I use you, Stubby Nubs & 731. You are my 3 go to guys! Excellent on the TSO Router table. I am buying the JMP From Bridge City Tools. Thank You!
How stable? When you out your hands in top of the fence, multiple times at the beginning of the video, that fence wiggled, rocked, and appeared loose - how stable is it? Thnx
Nice. Would buy one, except it does not have option for a router lift. I have a Makita trim router. Having to bend down and rotate the router to raise/lower is a pain. More so when older or have issues. I just received the TSO 30" parallel rip guides with extra stops and the MFT aligned guide rail support upgrade kit. Now just need to wait for the warm weather as I live in a condo and only work out on the balcony.
Great info… as always! Can you elaborate (or point me to a video if you’ve already done one) on MFT tables vs torsion style bench? I’ve been going back and forth for two years on which way to go. To complicate matters further… I have been debating installing a router wing in my table saw vs a dedicated router table. It looks like the MFT tables In conjunction with the TSO router table might give me the best of all worlds. Thank you in advance.
Is the table physically large enough to fit a 2.25hp router, they just don't list them as compatible due to weight/torque support? If they adapted the design with supports on both sides so it could mount between two mft tables, or in my case between an mft table and the mw 1000 mobile station (the supported side of the mw) it could be quite an upgrade. A small in feed and large out feed and solid platform for a bigger router.
Please forgive me if it’s a duplicate question, but looking for opinions on the compatible routers. I’d prefer a corded router and my instinct says Bosch, but curious what the masses think
TSO couldn’t confirm whether it could work with any router that uses a 1/2” collet. If anyone who owns this and also owns a Bosch 1617 could try this combo it would be much appreciated.
If it had tooless attachment to the table that would be great and if it could fold down and still be attached that would make it fantastic. And then next to it have one for your jigsaw 😂
Out of curiosity has Brent ever stated that his channel was for hobbyists? I mean an MFT/3 Table alone is $799.00 then it is some what pointless to pay that if you don't have a compatible track saw which would be another $400-800 depending on model (the makita fits on the festool rails has does the new milwaukee). So a $300 router table extension isn't that nuts when you already have $1100-1600 invested in this system. Hell a cheap router table with out a router runs $200 and isn't much bigger then this.
@@Sauron227serious question. If you already own a Dewalt trim router and needed a table for a garage workshop for weekend woodworking, would you rather have this or the Bosch table?
@@JeremyN207 I personally don’t own anything Festool. I have 2 “portable/bench top” router tables, the Kreg and the Kobalt. Neither of which are predrilled for trim routers, but in the case of the Kreg it could be drilled out for the trim router by the user. I’ve never used the Bosch table so can’t really comment to it directly.

Looks ok for very basic small jobs, but I'll keep my full size table with my 2.25 HP bosch router.

I wish I would have found your channel before I started. I have a bunch of stuff that I bought which works but man this makes life a lot easier.
Sweet product, portable and space saving!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Agreed!
Perfect timing , I was just looking at their website for these, and wondered how they work. Thank you.
Glad I could help!

I bought the Woodpeckers trim router table as soon as I saw it, mostly because I could still use it hand-held, no tools required!
Sooooo… if I connect that bad boy in between my 2 MFTs, I’d have a huge infeed and outfeed table for my router!? I’M IN!
TSO knocked it out of the park with this one. Perfect for those of us with tool trailers/vans etc.
Thanks for the great review

The attachment system is pretty cool!
I was very tempted to get this, but not for the price they're asking. Guess I'll keep my JessEm table around.
I wonder if this will work with the Dashboard PWS? If not, Hans? Please?
Yes. I had the same question… would love to know. Thanks in advance

I would definitely tell you festool. I’m not a fan of the paddle switch sanders
will these work on the DashBoard Table…..
Looks interesting. Do you know whether the Festool 1010 fits the predrilled holes?
It does not

Bent, you son of a…. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Awesome! I’ve been waiting a long time to feature this
Damn....TSO always releasing cool stuff...lol
Thank you for introducing me to this. Would you happen to know if the Ryder plate is compatible with Skil/Hercules routers?’
Its pretty cool, little bit of sticker shock there forsure....why the extra table is so much is beyond me though, sheeesh ..
Please forgive me if it’s a duplicate question, but looking for opinions on the compatible routers. I’d prefer a corded router and my instinct says Bosch, but curious what the masses think
Yes!!! This looks amazing 🎉
cant wait for the temu version
Will this fit any routers that use a 1/2 collet? Like the DeWalt DW618 or Bosch 1617EVS? Thanks!
TSO couldn’t confirm whether it could work with any router that uses a 1/2” collet. If anyone who owns this and also owns a Bosch 1617 could try this combo it would be much appreciated.
Do you happen to have any discount codes for the router table or the guides? Thank you.
It looks like an option could be to have a temporary mount for the incra LS fence using the accurate mft holes… I may try that
can it be used with router OF-1400?
I wonder if this fits the Skil Router
If it had tooless attachment to the table that would be great and if it could fold down and still be attached that would make it fantastic. And then next to it have one for your jigsaw 😂
Amazing stuff… would buy it immediately but they are not available in Germany even not at axminster. And shipping from tso directly is 500 € … haha…
It isn’t set up to accept a Festool trim router? 🤔
Notice the round brown is displayed differently. ;)
I didn't see a lift or crank. How do you raise and lower the router to the correct height?
Guessing you would use the in-build height adjustment on whatever palm router you hook up to the table.
Will this handle a full size router ?
I must be missing something, isn’t this something you could knock up in an hour with an off cut and a basic router set up for free?
It seems to only fit trim routers, so not sure why you even need to put a trim router in a table - seems to be a solution in search of a problem
My OCD won’t allow me to buy any of these Swiss cheese accessories.
"I can pull out if I absolutely needed to"
Wish I had a dollar every time I told a girl that.
Needs to have a phenolic table top. The msg is not a good wearable surface. Also all the plugs will collect debris.
If only I had a vacuum nearby…
Aren’t they T bolts rather than T nuts?
As I said before I’ve got to stop watching your videos because I always end up spending money.
👍👌☝😎
Booo. 300.00. Not for the hobbiest
I agree, if your hobby is stamp collecting.

I just unsubscribe to your channel because you don't answer to emails. Goodbye!
You think that’s bad, I’m still waiting for DoorDash to deliver my order for a pollo asado burrito from December 2020.
I am sure Bent's gutted.
With 232,000 subscribers, that would be a full time job at least. Just take what you get for free and be happy.
Soooo if I were looking for a deal on a router table……you know anyone?? 😂😂
