Gotta love that The Ghoul has the “Bloody Mess” perk.
Guessing people's perks is my fav part of the show.
Love that perk especially since I prefer to be a sniper.
Guess Lucy has a VERY toned down wild wasteland
AND explosive Ammo.
@@SargNickFury then you're going to love that according to fallout shelter Lucy has +7 luck in her S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats. and her clothes give her +3 so that justifies all the plot conveniences... hahahaha
When The Ghoul stabbed the dog.
“Everyone disliked that”
But he fixed that when he saved him afterwards ;)
You are vilified in the Gamer community…
It's really strange and worrying that in our actual world killing hundreeds of humans is acceped but killing a dog is outrageous. I like dogs but they are dogs, animals that can kill you or arm you badly. A friend got attacked by the neighbour's dog and almost died if his father did not kill the dog with a showel to save him. So dogs are animals and not predictable you should never handle them like children.
I told the people I was watching with "Its okay, Dogmeat is unkillable."
When he got up after I was like "See?"
"you are vilified"
Most people don't realize that the dog's name is CX404...404 is the error code for page not found/deleted.
love that Magy always mentions her love for the music. the music is one of my favorite things about playing Fallout
"I don't want to set the world on fire" by the Inkspots was my wedding dance song. The music in fallout is epic.
@@cerisambrook7692 This song immediately makes me want to cry.😢
Ever since the game. Such a beautiful, painful song, resurrected from the depths of Americana by...a...errr...video game. Wow. ❤🔥
@@user-uu9vh4zg5v it was actually the first song in the Fallout Series.
The syringe that the Ghoul used on the dog is called a Stimpak.
It provides very fast localized healing.
Lucy used one in the Vault, after being stabbed by her husband.
It occurred to me that maybe he didn't in fact kill 4 just knocked her out
@@robertomachado6004 He stabbed her, she was still alive outside when he brought her in to heal.
Michael Emerson who played the doctor worked with show runner Jonathan Nolan on a great show called Person Of Interest a decade ago, he played a genius scientist who walked with a limp and had a Belgian Malinois to protect him. And for Fallout he played a genius scientist who walked with a limp and had a Belgian Malinois to protect him.🤣🤣🤣
Bear was such a good dog, wasn’t he? The only canine TV character I’ve ever heard of who had his own Twitter feed.
Dude, I miss PoI. Was an awesome show wish they would do some spinoff show in that universe
Sounds like he's a very versatile actor!
A decade ago...Jeeze I feel old now Lost seems like a few months ago.
The monster in the cave, the mutant bear, is called a Yao Guai.
Yao Guai is a chinese name that means something like dark monster, BUT, the name yao guai is also a pun of the word Yogi.
Yogi Bear was once a popular American cartoon character.
And is also a pun of Yogi Berra, a famous baseball player.
That whole entire sequence with the mutated bear nuclear levels above what I even expected to happen
The Yao guai effects were super impressive. Almost looks like they used animatronics in some shots. What was the budget for this TV show? 😅
@@nirvanafan21191 same people that worked on westworld. that show is basically about the institute if it was a different alternate future.
Absolutely! But what a chicken shit running away in T60! It wasn't even glowing! ;)
That scene is so accurate, from the way knight Titus reacted to the yao guai to the way it ignored Maximus and kept going for Titus 😂 everyone I know had a similar reaction to meeting a Yao for the first time in the game, and the enemies always make the player the priority if they have a choice lol
@@nirvanafan21191yea for the "Monsters" they used animatrinics
"War, war never changes."
The ripper is a top tier melee weapon so she should hold onto that after she bags him up. 😂
yup, Very good against groups of ghouls that just run straight in to you
@@jerthon1tbf, her experience at this point is radroaches as melee combatants
The question is, will you want the same things when you become a different animal yourself? This is Fallout. This is the world after.
the girl who plays lucy is great. she was on the show yellowjackets, if you haven't seen it its really good and shes totally different in that.
As a lifelong fan of the games, the show is amazing and they did a fantastic job of adapting the world of the games. I love it just as much as you guys!
I love it when the stimpak revived dogmeat, true to the game.😅
@@redpanda3339 And the fact that it instantly healed Lucy's stab wound. Definitely accurate!
Titus is the average player... hahahaha... he deviates from the main quest because he wants to "shoot something", but runs as soon as he sees a bear xD
That original Titus would probably also have run while *playing* as the main player in the FO4 game during the first Boss fight in Concord!
Omg i just caught that he said vault 33s projectors showed nebraska images. I live in nebraska !!
For me Ella Purnell did an amazing job portraying the naive side of vault dwellers. And if you believe her, you become more immersed in this amazing world that is fallout
23:00 "What is this weapon?"
Looks like a MTs255 modified into a pistol. The MTs255 is a 410 revolver shotgun. They have a similar gun in the games called “The Ghoul”. Perhaps that is why he is called The Ghoul, or perhaps the gun is named after him.
Stimpak- yup “just like that”
When Maximus went to the pitch-dark hell, I thought at first there was a deathclaw, but well, a bear is probably enough. The cattle are deadly enough when even a fly starts to mutate.
Its a Yao Guai, a mutated radioactive bear.
A Yao Guai isn't a top tier threat, but its quite dangerous to low level characters.
You two are to funny. 😂 She stole the Pikachu. 😂
The thing about the music is that it's generally the kind of music you'd have heard in the 1950's. Even before the nuclear bombs fell, society was a visual of what people in the 50's believed the future would look like. That's why they still had 1950's cars and technology with advanced Robotics. The truth is that the bombs dropped in 2077 and Lucy is 200+ years after that. so the music is still "from" the 1950's. Without music studios and newer technology music didn't evolve.
The real tragedy is a future world without The Beatles, and without Led Zeppelin, and without Pink Floyd, and without [fill in the blank]. Funny thing about the FO4 game in particular is that there are no musical instruments anywhere despite all the NPC's listening to pre-recorded radio music.
@@x_trio_3_po333 Yeah a lot of the music seems to be minimalistic with the instruments. But then even the specific artists are also ort of like listening to a commercial jingle rather than a heartfelt song sung with emotion. But then, that WAS the 1950's. The music is actually authentic in tone and style. So it does have that going for it.
26:20...oooh yeah and it's for that we play video games! 😅🤣🥰
You forgot to reload your gun...LOOOOLLLL!🤣🤣
Master class from the director! They was not forgot it! With fun, it's a way to say...."serioulsy?"
"You got to be fucking me."
Yes! 🤣
Just for the making of...this dog is a hero! 😍🥰
The story and characters are all original but the show is loaded with fan service so as a fan of the games I'm enjoying it alot
They captured so much essence of the games. The people behind this show really did their homework.
One example is Maximus remembering hiding in a refrigerator as a kid. In a Fallout 3 side quest you can discover a deserted town that has been overrun by giant ants and find a little boy hiding in a fridge on a street who asks you to help him find his parents. This quest had nothing to do with the main story - it was just something to do if you were wandering around and stumbled upon it. Little details like this being portrayed in the show makes people who grew up playing these games really happy.
Same in FO4 in the side quest, "kid in a fridge".
Most of the music used in the show so far was used in the games.
*gets traumatized at dog incinerator scene*
welcome to fallout
'Maybe they sre going to be a team'
how adorable.
Definitely have been enjoying the show so far. Glad you girls are too
Love this. Got a wild ride ahead, looking forward to the rest.
I can't wait to see you both react to the next Fallout episode. It's especially fun since you two haven't played the game so you're not familiar with the nature of the franchise. Thanks for the videos. It gets better, and you may want a glass of wine before you watch the next one. There are some surprises coming.
Surprises are best when you don't know they're coming.
Just a tease. @@michaelhoward142
Youre going to enjoy where all this goes. But a warning - it actually gets more gruesome!
Great reaction girls Yeah, when The Ghoul killed the good doggie at around @24:45 I was as sad & upset as you two were. I’m a huge cat & dog lover to say the least. I think they’re one of the greatest things in this life so any depiction of neglect or abuse of them triggers me to no end. Any one who abuses, abandons, neglects or harms a cat or dog in real life is pure soulless scum & deserves no quarter in my book.
*SPOILERS*
Luckily, the dog gets healed, but dirtbag Thaddeus abandons him & puts him in a box which also made my blood boil. Luckily he was saved again. I don’t know why they even had to do this in the show twice. Outside of those two triggering incidents, this show was fantastic. Glad you two are enjoying it😉😊
Funfact for you two : When they talk about the "Enclave" they mean the government of the Old world who hidet on an oilrig right before the great war so they can recultivate the wasteland when everyone is death. but they god almost destroyed.
I wonder if we will see them in power armor in season 2 or as a teaser for a possible season 3
@@literallyagalilacegenii7.690 me too i know that the next gen fallout 4 update will contain the enclave power armor.
@@literallyagalilacegenii7.690the enclave was destroyed in dc and at the rig. They don’t exist as a factor.
@@burnttoaster6313 there could be plenty more
@@literallyagalilacegenii7.690 then they would be making up new lore which will leave a bad taste for fallout fans but considering the writers wrote the show not for true fans. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
Magy reacts to "Bram Stoker's Dracula". Bran Stoker's Dracula is a strange and sinister horror film.
I am a Fallout player, and I really like this show. I just finished it yesterday. I would say it is a good addition to the Fallout universe, and it captures the tone and feel of the games very well. The only complaint I have is how it ended with more questions than answers. Also I am a little disappointed that there were no super mutants. Otherwise a solid show with mostly good writing and good characters.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. Just the situation with 2277 and Shady Sands compared to 2282 and NV is either something they totally overlooked or they retconned NV and that would be even shittier.
There was a Super Mutant arm :D
People hate TV shows then because that's how shows/movies are written? 😂 like Fallout always leaves us with more questions than answers every game and that's why it's so important for people to see what happens in Vagas since it was teased
Sometimes that's the best way to end a season, with more questions than answers. Remember the 1st season finale of Lost? It fired up everyone for S2. I'm currently in my 6th modded play through of FO4. I agree that this is a solid TV show that does justice to the games.
That's HEEM! 😂😂 Love the Reactions. Great show!
Season 2 is gona be lit
I think you should start a Fallout 4 playthrough
I love how this show seems to be combining elements of Fallout 3 & 4 into their story. The Vault Dweller leaving to go find her father is clearly a nod to Fallout 3 and the Dog (the German Shepard) is from Fallout 4.
And all of West Coast for 1, 2 and NV
Oh, Dogmeat has been around in the Fallout series since the beginning :)
Dogmeat has been in Fallouut everything.
The entire Fallout/Wasteland sagas are heavily influenced by the 1975 movie "A Boy and His Dog" which showed many of the themes that the game would be known for. The idea of Dogmeat, and a lone wanderer and his highly intelligent canine surviving the post apocolypse were the nucleous of the entire genre of games. If you haven't seen that movie you should.
The robot that lucy seen in the sand is an Assualtron. A military robot that attacks in the game with a eye lazer.
The robot sand scene may also be a call back to the 1990 post-apocalyptic film "Hardware". A Waste lander finds a broken military robot buried in the sand. He brings its head to his GF to use in her metalic art work project which she creates in her apartment. The waste lander leaves and later discovers that the robot is still functioning, and is capable of self-repair, and is specifically designed for human over-population reduction.
In the games you do not see baby remains for reasons. The put in Teddy bears instead.

Magic Magy Truly Such A Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Awesome reaction of my favorite Fallout episode!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Magi you must do a vault girl cosplay. Vault Tec wants you to do that.👍
How does that prosthetic leg work??. It grinds until it can´t anymore and gets like stuck???. Or wtf???
I love magy hair
That bear is a ledgendary zombie bear
Machine gun Turret: misses every single shot from ten feet away
Fallout players: exactly like the games!
Am I the only one who noticed that in ep.1 Stephanie looked like Vault-Girl?
Crazy episode
According Paladin Danse, BOS soldiers always carry a secondary weapon. Like a secondary laser or an assault rifle. Yet Titus didn't have one in his confrontation with the Yao Guai Bear. Maybe that is something unique to FO4? And why didn't Titus carry any Stimpaks on him? Are there no pockets in Power Armor?
We see later on that the suit has at least RadAway in its left arm, so very surprising there’s no other medical supplies brought up
He's pretty badly injured and may be immobilized
@@christophermcdonough3915 That's very true. However a BOS Knight's inability to Stimpak himself is never a good scenario. What if his unarmored Squire is killed in battle?
It's likely indicating how wildly standards vary between different Chapters of BoS can be, or overconfidence on the part of this ill fated knight
That's specific for Maxon's chapter...
And that knight just went for a game.
Not prepared for a serious fight.
Magy, you gotta do a reaction to "Back To The Future Part 3" now
..hola ! In the game within the beautiful variety of musical themes one of my favorites was "atom bomb baby" I mean, Magi you are an atom bomb baby.!
This is so funny! 😊
pikachu gets all the luck 😂
the fallout series is actually really good, as a fan of the games I'm pleasantly surprised
u'll love the whole series I'm sure
Ive played Fallout 3 when it came out on the xbox 360 and Fallout 4 on ps4 and completed both with %100 achievement. Ive never played fallout 1 or 2 and I havent bought 76 due to it not having an offline story mode and the terrible reviews it recieved on its release, so am in no way a superfan of the franchise but here is my take on it.
They got the feel of the games exactly how I remeber, the vault scenes reminded me so much of fallout 3 especially the classroom bit, filly town was literly how I remember megaton in fallout 3 with the airplane nose, it really captured the feeling of when I first arrive in megaton.
The part where she enters the deserted derelict house with the burned corpses, they took that streight from fallout 4 because I remeber entering a home exactly like that one with the sand and everything, the random encounters with strangers in the wasteland, the power armor looks perfect just like in fallout 4, though I wish they showed a bit more raiders in the wasteland because they are litterly everywhere in the games
so yeh, it really does capture the feel of the games to the teeth, probably the best adapation of any game I have ever seen, I really recommend playing fallout 4 and trying it for yourself
Magy will especially like FO4 because of the Dog companion. And he's a dog that cannot be killed (only temporarily wounded). And Dogmeat is a great fighter. My dog companion in FO3 OTOH was killed by mutated Fire Ants. And yes Fallout is one of the best adaptations of a video game. Right up there with TLOU.
Tomorrow. Tomorrow never changes.
I'm not a fallout game player, but bottle caps is money in the games.. so he did, in fact, pay for the tomatoes ;)
These intros are pure gold, the Pikachu drama thickens 😂
Lucy finally meeting the mysterious scientist helps us connect the stories really well and his knowledge on the outside world proves invaluable to Lucy.
That whole dialogue/monologue between the knight and the squire makes it very clear that these are not "the good guys" either.
Seeing Maximus get in the armor was so satisfying!
That was actually pretty cool to see, how Lucy used the chaos caused by the Ghoul to find out more information about Moldaver.
Talk about losing your head - what a way to end the episode!
Thank you for the incredible reaction, commentary and the interesting discussion after ❤
Man, i dont know what are in thise stimpaks, but my personal theory is that its probably a weak fourth cousin of the FEV virus. It would kinda explain why some people became ghouls with radiation alone...
HI Magy. Hi Laura.
Just wondering if Laura has a squid game later? I think Fallout is very good and your reactions are great.
11:52 why blame Maximus for something that isn't his fault, he was the one who decided to go shoot something
Hi Laura and Magy
Okey dokey.
maximus is a true black dude. acts just like one.
I will mark on your map hahaha
Interesting seeing peoples big complaint is "it leaves us with more questions than answers," and like, have you not played the game? Or took in any media shows? Yes cliffhanger exsists and people forget more episodes COULD come out and they do have it planed and people going "they left X out" and like thats the point its to draw people in for the next season like are people seriously asking these crazy questions and 100% mean it? Do people not know how shows work?
Basically, if the main problem is "I want more from the show," that's good because if you like what they gave so far, be excited when they do what you want to come
I can't wait for Dune part 2 movie reactions
this is mega ton
Pikachu
Yall should watch x-men 97 after this series
i'm still wondering how magy became the third wheel LOL
I watched the first three episodes of the series..... but something about this knight is WRONG.... the knight of BoS does not behave like that.... now I do not know how it goes after, and did BoS set up Maximus with Titus as exam but he did not behaved as proper knight at all... or they totally modify it for the series too much.... plus that armor should have at least 4 stimpaks on itself...
Also one other thing that I find really irritating is that vertibird are too small, they might carry one knight but they are not made to carry one but at least four or six knight at once... not ONE and in that shot it is made that vertibirds are made for single knigths transport....
Enjoying time you see the squire running around carrying the huge bag, this is a joke about how you are always overencumbered when playing Fallout
If not now then when.
very good reactions magy but I hope you can react to the movies that need to be finished
Hobbit 3 we are waiting 😊
Titus:
Sent his companion into a monsters lair to scout for him even though he didn't give the companion any armor
Got immediately overpowered by the monster
Ran away like a coward
Refused to take responsibility and blamed his companion for his own poor judgement
Typical fallout player.
1-2 episode is okay but , the next all episode is 10/10 video game adaptation
There's something off about Titus, and I don't think its a writing mistake. I've seen Brotherhood knights be heroes and villains, but I've never seen one who was stupid, incompetent, weak, and shirks responsibility. And that stuff about "the clerics with their stupid missions". I've never known a Brotherhood knight to be anything but a true believer. And a knight getting killed by a Yao Guai? I'd expect a knight in power armor to kill it unarmed, if needs be. It feels like there's something way off about this chapter. They're weak and rotten somehow.
In FO4, there is a side quest involving a rogue BOS Initiate who questions the faction's lethal treatment of feral Ghouls. Perhaps Titus's behavior and character is a reference to this? But the scene is certainly at odds with Fallout BOS lore.
So glad to see Maggie mouth move again, with no sweollenness. You are prettier Au natural !

It doesn't do a very good job of explaining how good stimpaks are in this world for healing wounds. They're trying to keep the show true to how the games play... so 1 stimpak would have saved Knight Titus in ep 1, and it completely healed the dog's stab wound in this one. For people that have not played the game, they question what is going on...
