The movie really highlights the pros and cons of women on the battlefield.

But if you're referring to what I referred to as "pros", I was alluding to the female soldiers' positive effect on male soldier morale. The cons probably outweigh the pros but women can serve as motivation for male soldiers not to give up.

The version posted here is choppy and devoid of the sequences leading up to the emotions so we cannot possibly understand the depth of WHY their emotions are as they are.

I have watched a lot of Russian films (Mosfilm) the storylines, are different, generally more dramatic and personal. However, the quality and acting are equal to any Western-made films I have watched.
This film was quite exceptional - drama, compassion, action, tragedy, love, friendship, betrayal it has it all.
