How is it cpu bound? The 3050 is at 98-99% usuage, the cpu is much less so. The video card has nothing left to give. I think it's gpu bound, not cpu bound. 🤔
Hello kryzzp as I said in the previous video put the depth of field at low and the game will look much better there is a strange thing with the DOF , looks like the resolution is at 720p but when you turn off that everything looks better

They all look “buttery smooth” they all look playable. They all look great. I see no stutter. I see no anything but great games. No matter how much i watch . I cannot grasp what you are talking about I cannot see any difference when you change the settings. It all looks fine to me. And ive played stunt car racer on the amiga500 . That was s**t but still tiatally playable. I still have no idea what you are talking about. Every Gpu you use seems to be fine. Why does anyone need 4k. Our brains do not need 4k. When i was young my imagination filled any gaps. Try Frontier Elite 2 and then see why we can cope with 1080 p all day long !!
This is the first NFS game, that I like since, Shift 2. I dig the whole map and the physics and racing are pretty fun. I just wish they'd make another game that's more realistic in the physics and overall gameplay. Luckily, Turn 10 has been making that game the last 10 years.... Man. NFSU 1 and 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, ProStreet, Shift. All great games.
I honestly believe they won't go in the path of realism anymore cause nfs has always been like that, it's all about the rush, the adrenaline. There's forza though if you need a driving sim and realism.

Yeah the game saturates all your threads even on my 5800X3D which is a very good thing. Heat had stutters all over the place even paired with my 3080 TI at 1440p. But this game is MUCH better optimized while also having a much more dynamic environment than both Heat and FH5. Main city areas are definitely even more CPU heavy though which I figured would happen but it doesn't stutter hardly. Native TAA in this game is horrible though and DLSS Quality looks much better for aliasing. I love FH5 to an extent but the world is very empty and 90% desert which means ofcourse the game should look good for the car models and be easier on the CPU. Thats why alot of players went back to previous titles like FH4. But overall Unbound looks decent while giving me 115-160+ fps (Ultra settings and DLSS Quality) while Forza I only get 100-110fps depending on the area but its mostly empty desert. Hot wheels world is decent though.
This game somehow reminds me of Microsoft's Midtown madness. That 1st game that had these kind of weird people walking around who you can't run over. Even some part of that map looks like its from Midtown madness. Also.. They completely missed the point with those roadside railings. They are meant to keep cars on the road. Those should be much tougher than to be so brittle.

Thats because the 1650 was not powerful enough for 1080p 60 fps ultra settings even when it released, it is old at this point as well and has 4gb vram, the 3050 is the entry lvl 1080p 60 fps gpu now.

No, it's fine, I haven't been testing with it because I rearranged the setup and I'm waiting on a 5 meter cable so I can connect my main PC to the recording PC :)
hey kryzzp i really need some help yesterday i tried to replace the old thermal paste on my cpu but i dropped the cpu on pins of the motherboard the cpu is totally fine but the moterboard pins got damaged a little bit i fixed them they look the same as new but the when i press the power button the pc just turns on for 2 sec and it shutdowns even the bios writing like press del to enter bios it doesnt even appear so i wanted to know what should i do are the pins able to get fixed or should i throw the motherboard in the trash and buy a new one or what nice vid by the way
R5 3600 is not a budget CPU, get that out of your mind, when it came out, there were far cheaper budget options and there still is, it just happened to be the "sweet spot" much like the i5 2500 was 10 years ago.
It is a budget CPU friend. It was a mid range CPU 3 and a half years ago when it came out. There has been 3 generations of releases since. However, that does not mean it is a bad CPU, it is very good.
3050 laptops are one of the most weaker performers when compared to desktop cards. For example 3060 laptops are very close to 3060 desktops but its not the case for 3050s. If you enable DLSS on High preset you should be sitting over 60fps mostly, depends on what TGP 3050 u have

I have a 3050 laptop 90w, I get 60fps most of the time, the lowest it goes is 50. Med-high settings with balanced dlss. Just those cutscenes in the meeting points are hell for some reason, goes down alot. Edit: wow okay so, set everything to high-med and dlss to quality. But set depth of field and reflections to low. Those 2 settings eat up almost 30 fps. it now stays in the 70-90 fps range. I'd say set a limit to 60 fps, its not going to reach 120 and you're just overheating your system
It would be nice to see the GTX 1060 but i think time has come for this Card and you will not get 60+ FPS in more than low settings. Maybe not even on low nativ 1080p.
Hey Kryzzp, I have an asus 1650 Super OC and it gets 50 fps using low, medium, high and ultra, (constantly at 99% usage) My CPU usage is 30-40 on an i5-10400f, I even reinstalled my drivers, do you have any idea why this is? I've been looking for so long, I just wanted to play this game so bad.

Если упор ровно в 50 фпс и ни фпсом больше, на любых настройках, то это практически всегда либо в каком то софте типа ривы выставлен лок, либо каким-то образом игра запускается в режиме 50гц и с вертикалкой. Надо сбросить настройки драйвера, и чекнуть профиль настроек в дровах для этой игры, возможно где-то что-то конфликтует с настройками самой игры
You should restart the game after applying graphics settings, sometimes they don't apply properly if you don't restart your game, maybe that's why you didn't see that big of a difference with DLSS on Also by the way, the game is only CPU intensive in the city, if you want to test for how well a GPU performs you should test it outside the city

having 128Bits Bus width and only 224 GB/s Bandwidth and only 142 Gtextel/s is killing this GPU , even on 1080p , 8 MB of Vram is not gonna save it , it's like having a car with V12 turbo engine with the Wheels of a bicycle , it bottleneck it self !
A majority of modern NFS games come with a single player campaign & story. This one (NFS Unbound) seems to be the most fleshed out so far though. You even get to make your own character that'd appear in cutscenes & stuff. You could similar stuff about the previous installment (NFS Heat), but Heat was an unfinished mess which story (and campaign!) is apparently cut by a lot even though it had a lot of potential. And coming from the disappointment that was Heat, Unbound is a lot more enjoyable to play through the campaign & story with.

I think you should give NFS: The Run a try since it is a straight to the point (no pun intended) racing game with some unique yet enjoyable physics.

Frostbite engine is pretty cpu intensive. With 5800x i have 80-100fps which bottleneck my 3080 at 3440x1440

having 128Bits Bus width and only 224 GB/s Bandwidth and only 142 Gtextel/s is killing this GPU , even on 1080p , 8 MB of Vram is not gonna save it , it's like having a car with V12 turbo engine with the Wheels of a bicycle , it bottleneck it self !

To be honest, that card is pretty old and still can handle 1080 ultra with good fps. Not gonna lie, imma buy a rtx 3050ti.

A majority of modern NFS games come with a single player campaign & story. This one (NFS Unbound) seems to be the most fleshed out so far though. You even get to make your own character that'd appear in cutscenes & stuff.
You could similar stuff about the previous installment (NFS Heat), but Heat was an unfinished mess which story (and campaign!) is apparently cut by a lot even though it had a lot of potential. And coming from the disappointment that was Heat, Unbound is a lot more enjoyable to play through the campaign & story with.

Hello. Ive comented this on your gtx 1650 in forza video but its a few days old so you probablly havent seen it. Now that you have a steering wheel try BeamNG drive. Its ~20€ on steam . Its a simulator but a steering wheel is really nice with it. Better then forza imo. So yeah a suggest you give it a try. And if you need any help just tell me. I am ready to help. 😊

Beamng is more suited for cpu test than gpu test unfortunately
