    Good video on stretching for those with problems with tight muscles. Also these exercises are safer while sitting than some while standing for those of us with balance issues. Thank you.

      You're very welcome! All my exercises classes in my program, The MSing Link, are done in a seated position (w/ a few that have standing options if people feel up for it)! I'm glad you enjoyed this sample class from the program!

    Dr.G thank you 🙏 very much. I’m loving the stretches and I like that I can hopefully do it without falling. Hopefully I can run this 5 days a week.

    Thank you for the video on stretching. I found it better for myself ,being uncomfortable using a chair without armrests, to use my scooter seat where I can use the armrests as needed for safety.

    Dr. G thanks for doing these.
    Just curious if you see ms patients with issues with over extended keens and might the leg stretch with cane to pull back the foot make it harder for people with over extended knee to fix.

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  10 месяцев назад

      Absolutely! I'll share a short with you where I have discussed knee buckling/hyperextension here: ruclips.net/video/07s-t5cMORA/видео.htmlsi=q6KL8hrG-ZjQgfq7
      Also, to answer your question, if you are using a cane to stretch out the calf muscle & have hyperextension it doesn't make it harder per say. But, it would be important to make sure you keep a slight bend in the knee when doing this stretch!

    Comment: Difficult maneuvering right and left on the edges of chairs, tho'. Also exercising with all my weight at the edge of the chair, looks like a recipe for falling off. 😨

      Hi there! Anytime you notice something is difficult, it’s a great opportunity to practice it as an exercise! Also - you should always feel safe, so if you ever feel unsafe or unsteady - listen to your body and change your position. I never recommend to follow along exactly as I’m doing it if you don’t feel comfortable and stable doing it my way. Making adjustments is key 😊. Keep up the great work!
