Also they ruled University/Public Summer Festivals in the past 3 years, which is an impressive achievement for a boy group. Boy group is rarely invited in that kind of event, but Winner was consistenly being invited, which shows how the gp loves Winner.
The only ones that think they're flops are kpoppies who base a group's success with YT views. WINNER may be not that "big" internationally compared to newer groups, but they really slay in SK. And I'm sure WINNER will stay relevant after many years, just look how they're booked left & right with variety/radio program guestings, modeling gigs, CF, drama, mostly searched on MelOn ALL WHILE ON HIATUS.
If they don't have youtube views or don't make it high on billboard,then they are flops. That's their logic but I really appreciate VIP's they don't even know bb held some record until it's broken NOW. That's how clueless and unbothered they are . I learnt a lot from Vip,Ic,stays,carats. Most grateful and unbothered fandoms that just focus on their faves and appreciate them equally.
They're always TT in many countries over the world and they're hugely beloved in Korea, I'm so proud of being an IC since their WIN era and I feel so proud of our fandom. Sells doesn't lie, we're awesome. >u

I agree with everything you said about WINNER. But I'd also like to add one thing that sets them apart from other idol groups. WINNER members are proactive when it comes to calling out toxic fan behavior. They make fans aware that there's a certain line they cannot cross. They don't tolerate things for the sake of fan service. No wonder you'd rarely see an Inseo misbehave, because WINNER raised us well. If only more idol groups will do it like them, maybe K-Pop fans aren't as toxic as now.

@@Nzsh yup! That's a good point too. I've been a long time K-Pop fan but I fell hard for WINNER. First, because of their music, second, because of their genuineness as persons, third, because of the fandom. ICs are so warm and welcoming, I feel home.

As far as I know, no group has ever taken the record for their first win after debut. According to the dates WINNER is still the fastest group to do it.
Yes. The win is not counted since it's a pre recorded. It's only counted when it's air on tv. So, W still holds the title.

Aside from Bigbang, Winner is the only YG group where every member could be a solo artist. Before Jinwoo and Seunghoon enlistment, everyone of them had participated in shows as solo, not as group. Each of them offers different charms. Mino had a successful solo, recognized as rapper and artist, and a variety gem. Yoon is all-rounder, off and on cam, he can host and act plus his getting his solo CB. Hoon was well-known dancer, a natural funny man and he might probably will get his solo promos after enlistment. Jinwoo had his solo, also a favorite in variety and might probably will go to acting after enlistment. They can stand on their own while not dragging down the whole team as WINNER. That's how also BigBang is. Winner may not have achieve what had Bigbang had but they already found their music and fortunately, the members mature and will still grow as artists.

anywas other than that, u agree,winner is a group that has great in individuality and they achieved that even their trainee days the reason why YG comparing them to iKON its because they don't have a great sense of "TEAMWORK" back then, they were lacking at those. but gladly that tjey achieved it when they debuted.
Tbh, seeing what Bigbang has gone through, I lowkey wishing Winner stay 'hidden' from haters and immature fans. We all know how crazy kpop fans nowadays. I want Winner stays like now. I love their pace, I love their songs, their music colors, their classy charisma, and also their fans, one of my top 3 fav fandoms ever haha. I don't need Winner to be bigger, I only want them to last as long as they want, and to be free to do anything they want as Winner.

Actually Winner has always given me BIGBANG Vibes. Its because of that is why I like them so much. There is honestly no other group in YG that is similar to Bigbang than Winner in artistic style and creativity. Though I would saybthe same argument for alot of YG artists.

One fun fact about the Cross Tour, Hochiminh City was added later because they promised Vietnamese fans they would come back, and they did. Vietnam was not on the list because the company did not think it would make any money, but our leader Yoon specifically asked for it. WINNER IS THE BEST!!!!

I don't know if it's been said before, but I love how specific WINNER gets with their concerts. Going to Thailand? Let's do a BP song cs it's Lisa's home. Philippines? Let's learn Tagalog and dance to a local pop hit. There's always something special about their concerts that it doesn't feel like "I don't want to bother with going cs it's gonna end up on a DVD and I can watch it from there" like you'd almost WANT to be in EVERY concert just to get a kick out of what they're gonna do next. In the middle of edm noisy musics in kpop i found WINNER’s music like a miracle. Their music have laidback mood and summer songs bop. No wonder WINNER have massive support in korea hitting #1 in MELON even though they’re not really big Int. Also aside from their musics, each personality of the members really gotten me into like them even more with their witty answers lol.

Dunno why everyone was saying X1 snatched the record for the fastest debut win when in fact they didn't. X1 first debut stage was Aug 27, then The Show broadcasted their 1st win on Sep. 3. Why would they count the win on Sep. 1 when it's clearly prerecorded? WINNER debut stage on Inkigayo was Aug 17, then they got their first win on Aug 21 at MCountdown. It's a very easy math:
WINNER 1st win = 5 days
X1 1st win = 8 days
True. Winner record has never and will never be broken. The current group must debut 7 days to get the first win.

what happened was: yg has always treated them poorly, since pre-debut to taehyun leaving and them saying they had 50 songs in storage besides the EXIT project. they were never given true care.

Did you know how he worked on mino last album and made sure he had a very good neck brace to help with his neck, did you know that he never made them have crazy dances because again of mine's neck which if you knew anything about disc problems and the pain it causes in not just your neck area but other places would you still say he didn't care, when yoon got hurt at the festival and when they were meant to perform their song on the music chart show they cancelled it and got yoon to the hospital, did you also know that he let tae leave and cancelled his contract without him paying a fee a very big fee nope he let him go, I could go on but probably just think know everything that goes on and how they are truly mistreated. At least they can be completely different like akmu and have control of their creativity which takes time doing an album and they never get pressured but they can take their time.

I disagree, while other agencies are feeding their artists everything from choreography and composing, YGE make their artists to do that kind of stuff so the artist can show what they want to show to their fans, that's the reason they can't release music quickly as like the others.
I disagree to this . Kudos to YGE for letting groups like Winner , thrive in the first place . They allowed them to grow in the pace they want , and their artistic approach has been different and yes I yell an yes to that , because what matters is Quality at the end , for me .I have never been hungry for anything else , when it comes to music , I just want my favs to continue making quality stuffs . Quality is diverse , it can be the beats , the drops or the messages . YGE has let Winner stay in their own preferred genre , which I STAN !
They never ruined anything, YG just have artist, it's true they put lots of pressure on their idols but each of them follow their own path and learned to take the lead in theirs careers until they got ready to kill it again.

WINNER doing so good. We don’t have big fandom but we stay calm and collected. We kick ass not only in chart but also in selling album. We doing good in solo too. Oh yeah not forget to mention that we hit almost all variety shows out there. So yeah we can said that WINNER now are good. 👑👑👑👑

they still have the best and most unique debut concept up to this day. imo, no one has topped their beginning concept so far. if yg only didn't fuck up their promotions and made them go hiatus several times, they would have achieved more than what they have right now. imagine having a successful debut only to be shoved in the basement for a year and a half???? only in yg 🙄
I am a fan of Winner and although I just joined this fandom in 2018, the fandom and especially Winner didn’t really just walk on a flowery road.
I expected that this will be talked about since this is what happened to WINNER but I will just share it with u guys.
They are a monster rookie but After debuting in 2014, they are nowhere to be found on 2015 they are even on a verge of disbanding on 2016. YG throw Winner in Japan after debut and have almost 2 years of hiatus. No one really know what will happen to them because of YG. Imagine after debuting they are put on hiatus they are just rookies at that time. The fans even payed for their practice videos that the fans should get for free because they want to see Winner. And finally on 2017, they comeback but as 4 members. We call it FNF (fate number four). And they finally get what they deserve. Really Really is just a gem to us.
They are just starting again in 2017 but they are now again on hiatus this 2020 because two of the members are already enlisted. Imagine a group experiencing hiatus for the 3rd time. (Their 1st hiatus is 1.5 years, 2nd is 1.2years and now we’ll see them again after 5 years.
See? WINNER never had it easy. Some are hating them just because they are having a comeback? but having a comeback is what they deserve. They deserve to release their own musics. What Winner have now is thanks to them and to their fandom. We will just wait for them to comeback ☺️

I wouldn’t say the verge of disbanding, Taehyun decided to leave and the rest decided to stay, YG wouldn’t kicked them, they would continue promoting, but their popularity would decrease. It’s what happens to every group when a member leaves.
And if you want to bring 2ne1, they were surrounded by scandals during that time, and minzy left. YG told Bom that it would be better to take some time, and 2ne1 wasn’t going to promote with just 2 members, so they disbanded for their members health. Even YG promoted Bom in her solo comeback, and Bom herself wanted to return to YG for her solo career, but then decided to join her company cause she previously worked with one of the producers.
I've been stanning WINNER ever since i got into kpop 6 years ago. What's crazy is that many of my fellow kpop fans never heard of them.

just a tiny correction: their cross tour in asia wasn't cancelled midway through, they were actually going to their last spot already - singapore - before coming back to korea to do an encore/finale in seoul, which is why it was a huge bummer but they made up for it with the valentine's day online concert nevertheless. WINNER BEST BOYS 💙

So sad they didnt made it to the last spot Singapore. Cross Tour in Singapore was cancelled only 1 week before d-day, just after the night in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. I intended to attend it i cried a pond of blood due to this TT____TT

When you said that winner makes you feel something other groups cant i totally felt that. Been to their concert twice alredy one is this january 2020 only and I can say that its one best ever concerts I had✨👌😊.
Yes i watched in 2018 with my niece and she was hooked. In 2020 i brought my 2 nieces to their concert and i couldn't be happier to see them singing and jumping to winner's encore. It's hard to explain but it is really best to see them perform live. They just really hype you up and i have never felt so alive.

Agree.. I had never attended any concert before. I was so excited and nervous when I was attending their concert in 2018. Lucky me, it was the best concert ever. even the other ICs were so kind and I made a lot of friends.

Winner has the best of each aspect that kpop needs: Yoon's vocal, Jinu's visual, Mino's rap, Hoony's dance. They're like avengers. Yet, whenever I watch them, I feel like they're more than idols, I agreed that they're artist, and sometime they look like 4 richest men in korea who performs in their charity event 😂

I'll always remember watching Kpop star and how Seung Hoon wasn't the strongest vocalist nor dancer, but just... he was incredibly resourceful, and such an amazing performer. Despite having weaknesses he still managed to reach the live stages. If anyone has the chance, please watch Kpop star or Win: who's next, it really shows how much they've been through. I also wouldn't really say they're idols, but artists. Winner is amazing.

Thank you ! Winner are my ultimate bias. I watched them from the beginning on WIN who is next. They are artists! I love their charisma, they write and compose their own songs, they try many different genres. Each member is so Unique and has individuality so when they come together it’s amazing.

Before I got into kpop I was into rap and I would listen to rappers who were really good like Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry, J. Cole like the rappers who made art and when I bumped into SOSO by Winner I was amazed and I looked back on their old works and they were something different. They really inspire me and taught me a lot. They have soooo much talent and im grateful that I found them🙏🏻❤ but sometimes I feel like I got into the fandom late and I miss them so so much :(❤

They are one of a kind and each of the members are so talented and hilarious too! I hope more people give them a listen. I became an innercircle a little late and after years of k-pop hiatus, Winner was the only one who brought me back in.

At first, I did not know anything about Winner. All I know is the song - "Really Really" that I accidentally watched from one of the Korean variety shows and it wasn't played by Winner. It was played by one of UI's guitarists (I think). The moment I heard that song, I fell in-love with it. I kept on researching of who is the original singer. It took me quite a while to discover/know them (my bad 😭). But since then, I started following them on IG, Spotify and watched their milestone on You Tube and not a single day that I DO NOT play all of their music/songs. It is somewhat like a therapy to me. Like a lullaby if I need to sleep or if I need to start my day with a perky feeling or If I need relax. I love other Kpop like BigBang, BTS, iKon, ZICO, SUJU, and a lot more but WINNER Kpop is the only Kpop songs that I always listen to, like ALWAYS. REALLY! Literally EVERYDAY! Like an anthem to me. Isn't crazy? Am I crazy over them? 😁😉🤔😁

They've made so so many songs, still working on them, and are saving them for the prefect time to release them. that is why in each album you get so many style and genres to listen too. Fun fact! Their title tracks follows and tells a story about courtship, love, and losing that love ***MIND BLOWN*** like who does that?

I've only stan 3 Kpop groups so far. A 1st generation: H.O.T who was slaying back then(stanned in 1998). BB who are Kings of 2nd generation and are still slaying today(stanned in 2012). And WINNER(stanned since WIN). Yes, I am picky. And yes, it is super hard for me to find a group to stan. WINNER just somehow was able to slowly squeeze into my heart both with their music and with their personalities.

I saw Winner last year in San Francisco for their Everywhere World Tour. It was small, but it was amazing! I've gone to plenty of concerts before but they literally made me cried. I didn't even understand why I was crying, but it was totally worth it for my first concert cry, lol. I also attended that concert by myself and I honestly had so much fun lol. I would totally recommend anyone to go to their concert if you're ever contemplating in the future! Do it! You won't regret it :)
Saw them in Seattle for Everywhere Tour, it was one of the best experiences of my life! 💙💙💙💙
I was a casual fan when I attended their concert and thought I can leave not stanning them but I was totally wrong! They got me hooked and the concert was so much fun! I’m in my 30s and I thought there were going to be only younger people but man there was a diverse audience and Winner caters to that!
Jenny Vie That’s good that you enjoyed it. I felt the same. I honestly didn’t really like “Love Me Love Me” that much, but by the end of the concert; I got hooked on that song. I’m not sure which concert that you went to, but I felt like that atmosphere at the SF concert was great. I didn’t feel like I went alone. I bought the floor tickets, but the crowd was not pushing and everyone gave each other space, so my body wasn’t aching from not being able to move 😂 That’s something that I experienced a lot at other concerts, so I was surprised that everyone didn’t do that. Anyways, I would totally attend their concert next time too.

2014 was a good year. Debut was flawless and everything was great for both WINNER and fans. Whole album topped Melon from 1-10, early music show wins, end year award shows wins. We thought it'll be going smoothly however, that 1 year hiatus killed the momentum. Many fans cant wait and left. We had EXIT:E which was supposed to be a series but it underperformed and the whole project halted. Then NTH left. We knew he had a different vibe and musical direction as the other 4. But, we couldnt really have predicted him leaving. It was a devastating year. Theyre not doing well sales wise and now a member left. I remember crying that day after reading the news. I never imagined it couldve happened to a group I followed. We fans were worried sick about the group's future. The members were already pressured that time carrying the company's name and being the next bg to BIGBANG, they really hoped to be an asset to the company. I was really worried they would disband. 2016 was the worst year as an IC. But, Queen Really Really saved us. WTO4 saved the group. I can really say I love them even better now. Music wise, group chemistry wise, WINNER is perfect as four. FATE NUMBER FOR couldve not come at a better time. If it failed, I couldnt imagine what might have been. WINNER found their music color and I am so thankful. The rest of the years was still up and down but the continuous release of good music was a blessing. Now, we just have to wait. Just a few years and the group will be united again as four. 💙
