Great Work, reminds me of my old mate Phil years ago, he had a Phase 3 and I drove it a few times, it was a beast, hated city traffic, bred to travel the open roads, great memories to this old dude when cars had horsepower
What can I say?………..the amount of thought put into this project is amazing. Ive done up some cars of my own in the past and I know what is required to get the end product right…… details that the average person would not think of are the challenge and the rewards are incredible. Your computer program is priceless. Wish I had this tool back in the seventies! But then, I wouldn’t have had a computer to run it , would I?😊
I was amazed when I first seen the Torana and now this! Awesome work! great to see something different and something that’s driven and enjoyed. Hope you enjoyed 35 👍
Gotta agree with you on that point, the classic Brock Vs Moffat, with the small Torana making up for everything due to its lighter weight, compared to light, (comparatively) but bigger engined Ford 5.8 Litre V8. So the lighter Torana with Brock and his experience at the wheel and Moffat with his history and experience racing Fords, really pulled one off. Together they made a very good match as duellists in exciting racing. They were great to watch racing. These days, some of that allure is less evident to me in the Bathurst 1000. With purpose built race cars, only using the body shell to hide the trick equipment, the racing may be faster, but for my money, incomparable.
Yep! It was actually sitting in the back seat - haha! Also, the side chrome mouldings. Just need to find the time between now and Summernats to install!
That used to be a Ford Fairmont GT V8 in my country. My dad owned one in the 70's... A real cow chaser, a gas guzzler with dreadful handling and roadholding. He sold it for a Ford Cortina XR6 in the early 80's, a car that I learned to drive on.
Awesome job with patina in the wrap however the chrome work looks out of place. Weathered parts would have been a better match to the body. Anyone else think the same???
If you get to see the car close up, you'll see the bumpers, some of the trim and shaker have all lived a pretty good life. But we had to buy some new bits to 'GTHO' the car. We just spent the weekend at Summernats were we've collected a solid layer of dust to hopefully help give it that real 'barnfind' feel! hahaha
Thanks! Pricing can vary a fair bit with these depending on the complexity of the car and the wrap. But as a really rough guide it could be anywhere from $6k to 15k to design, print and install a wrap like these. This one is on the lower end of that as its not super complex. If you had a car & livery in mind and you wanted to know a bit more - contact us at contact@therendergarage.com.au and we'd be happy to discuss.

Raced the phase 3 in 72 due to cancellation of the phase 4 the globes and red wall aqua jets were offered to Phase 3 owners for $250 , in order to homaglate them for 72 touring car season.
@@darrincassidy9045 : yes mate , you are exactly right. They raced in 1972 with Globe rims. Tyres were too thin and needed rear disc brakes. Then it would have won.
We've got a spoiler, the 65E is meant to have one we just haven't had a chance to install it yet. The '72 car ran without the spoiler and looks cool without it!
100% 2 most iconic Ozzie muscle cars made 👌 Great video!

Peter Cornish has again smashed it out of the park. The falcon looks incredible.
4 Door A9X was another rare awesome thing 😎
The falcon looks killer

That's really cool.
Great Work.
Awesome Video, Can't wait to take a photo of the two cars together and talk to you guys. see you down at summernats!!

Incredble work. Makes me want to find a car to Render! Hmmm.....
Thanks mate - I think you should... lets do it! haha
Saw the falcon at summernats today. Very cool! It looked amazing. Would love to do something similar to my XW
Thanks mate! A 64E parked next to our 65E would look pretty epic!!! If you were ever keen to do it - reach out and we can have a chat.
Looks mean, done a great job
Pretty cool for a 4 door sedan!..did they make a version that didn't have the steering wheel on the passenger's side?..😆😉
HAHA! I'm not sure if there ever was a Left Hand Drive Falcon... You could always convert one!
Is the rear spoiler getting added ....needs that to finish it off

FUCK! They are the sickest two cars I've seen.
Thanks!

Near instant Bathurst 500 mile patina !!
Fuk yeh looks awesome
Needs a rear spoiler, and the chrome trim on the sill..Super nice Job though..
Nice what was the price to supply an install wrap

XC Hardtop would be the 3rd
We'd love to do a '77 Tribute XC Hardtop!!!
DOLLARS ? COST...? 6K to 15K IS AN AWESOME PAINT JOB!
This one is fairly straight forward, so it's at the lower end of that scale.
Ahhh the good old days when Cops actually followed up on Stolen cars
The Memories....
First 5 mins was a drag. Should of just got to the guts of the story
Here's a shorter version just for you: ruclips.net/video/B1ok71wn2Bs/видео.html
Sorry I'm a bit boring to listen to! haha
@@therendergarage I loved hearing the back story of your mate’s connection to the car. Great video.
Thanks @@markkelly6531!
Ewww...I just can't stand the patina look...would of looked soooooooo much better without it
Wrong wheels
FFS 🤦
Globe mags didn't come out until 1972 ( phase4) . In 1971 the the phase 3 had the 5 slotter's
Beat me to it. The Globes looked heaps better though.

Spot on, really made a beautiful car even sexier

I like the 5 slots with caps and redline tyres.
Some show Moffats XW and XY cars with and without spoilers what's the go with this car?
