    I have absolutely no doubt that this is the right way to go, and once I heal from the upcoming surgery (possibly two), if I regain muscle strength and sensation, it's on my to-do list. I love the way that you break down information (must be the science background) and present it in bits that are easier to understand. Until then, I'll keep learning theory until I resolve this and hope I'm able to take the course too. Thanks for being so awesome, patient, and affable in your videos. It reassures even the most cynical that the goal is reachable.

      Theory is great to learn while you recover. I hope you heal soon.

    I have just completed Lauren Batement's comprehensive guitar beginner course. The course is structured into 3 fundamental areas of Dexterity, Chords, and Strumming with Rhythm. These 3 areas have different competency levels that progress your learning without over whelming your progress. The focus of this course is you work at your own rate, with Lauren's excellent coaching, it become an essential and enjoyable course. The use of the metronome is correctly used and it really does speed up your learning folks!

    I have been picking around on a guitar for years, trying different you tube videos and trying to play with friends. I will have to say that in one hour session of your beginners intro I learned more and was able to actually be able to put some of the things that I could feel but not quite recognize together

    Great teacher and course, just some constructive feedback. I find the way the online materials are structured, it more often takes you to a sales channel to buy additional courses etc and can sometimes be a bit difficult to simply log in and work through course material. I bought the 7 level course as a beginner and found myself often having this issue - for example when you go to the 7 level system 'landing page," what you find is a series of additional courses you can buy rather than simply a place for students to learn and navigate. It would be better if this was not the case. REALLY trying to not sound negative here because the material is excellent! I do realize it is sometimes difficult/ challenging for a small businessperson to make a living off of RUclips and making sales is critical. But the customer experience should also be a priority, I think.

    • @LaurenBateman
      @LaurenBateman  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Rod, that’s because the 7 Level landing page is a sales page. We did add a Membership Tab to the homepage of my website with a login link so you can access your courses whenever you need.
      I often recommend to student to save the login page or even bookmark in their web browser for safe keeping.
      If you haven’t already, I would definitely save this link:
      www.laurenbatemanguitar.con/login
      And if you ever don’t have access to that link for whatever reason, you can go to my website, click ‘Membership’ in the navigation menu and use the Login link there.
      Thanks for your feedback. ☺️

    Do you supply a companion book with your course? I may be wrong, but it would seem to be helpful to also have a book to also fall back upon for reference rather than trying to remember everything that is presented in a video.

      Yes!!! It comes with a PDF workbook that has tips, suggestions on when to move on to the next level as well as all of the exercises and diagrams.
