Le Cordon Bleu in Paris is the best culinary school in all of France, seeing that it was the 2nd culinary school to open in 1896 (19th century). Giada De Laurentiis, Julia Child and Katie Quinn are lucky alumni from different years cause no other culinary schools in France are better than Le Cordon Bleu except for Ecole De Cuisine La Varenne in Paris/Burgundy, France (but sadly closed down). Great work, Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. ☺☺☺

I’m really interested in going to Le Cordon Bleu in Paris but I have two concerns. The first is what kind of education do I have to have to enter the school? The highest education I have is a high school GED. The second is housing. I live in the USA. If I go there, would I have to find housing myself?
Thank you so much for your interest in Le Cordon Bleu Paris. We ask our students to provide us with a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent; your GED would therefore work! Also, although we do not offer housing on campus, we are happy to provide accepted students with a list of contacts that may be of help in their housing search. Why don’t you get in touch with one of our students recruitment representatives to ask all your questions and get started on the application process? I invite you to reach out to Mr. Philippe Rocheron; you can reach out to him at procheron@cordonbleu.edu. Kind regards

Due to my religious beliefs I can not handle pork/pork-derived products as well as alcohol. I was wondering if this would be an obstacle when pursuing the diploma in patisserie?
Hello, you will not have to taste your creations or those of the Chefs during your Diploma. On the other hand you will need to handle alcohol or pork jelly. If you have other questions please send me your email as a member of recruitment team can contact you directly. Kind Regards, Gaëlle for Le Cordon Bleu Paris
Really prestigious college, but mind explaining me the following is the cost of all this wellness 49.300 euro a year or the whole 4 years of education, because if its 49k a year, my parents can't afford it even if they both take bank credits and sell their belongings. We're from Serbia and for our standards that price is ridiculously high. And both my parents have good jobs(Mother, doctor of botanics science, father lawmen for the organised crime in economy)

Second, since it's in the France, do I really need to know and speak France? Cause, I just can speak English and Indonesia. Thank you.

Hello, it is a culinary arts and hotel management institute.

You can also buy the book from Maincent-Morel "La cuisine de référence" (the cuisine of reference) if you want to become professional.
For culinary arts how much cost?
50,000 Euro plus your own housing and living costs separately ( about 1500 Euro a month). Very expensive for a 9 month course.
Je n’ai pas d’expérience en cuisine , est ce que ça pourrait être un obstacle ?
R B nope, vas voir sur leur site, ils t’expliquent tout ce qu’il faut que tu sache pour chaque filière où tu veux aller.
