That guy you didn't recognize is Chris Rupp, the founder of home free,he quit in 2016 and that's when Chance came into the group. They are hilarious
Great reaction! This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women. The guy you didn't recognize is Chris Rupp (brother of Adam Rupp the beatboxer). He co-founded Home Free with his brother but left later to pursue solo projects.
They're a pretty talented family!
Freddy Mercury was a know BISEXUAL! He was very flamboyant but loved what he loved, and fat bottomed girls was one of the things he loved😂
He lived mainly as a gay man... but it was just a joke 😉👍

"Country Fried Pop Medley" is another video from roughly this time, only slightly less blatantly humorous, and an impressive arragement. Well sung, I might add.

Chris Rupp (baritone), Adam's brother, founded Home Free in his college dorm room. He resigned from the group and went solo about 7 years ago. He currently has two YT channels, ChrisRuppOfficial and 7thAve Band. On the band channel, he does material with a revolving set of artists including his sister, actress/singer Tristin Rupp. 7thAve hasn't posted much material in the last couple of years, but the solo channel is still very active. Chris plays keys on some of his material. Sometimes his mother plays keys. His guest artists on the "solo" channel include Peter Hollens, members of Home Free, etc. Wide variety of styles. So, he's another sub-rabbit-hole you could go to.

@@MrsRealistic Yup. Some of us were in line when they passed out DNA, and some got caught behind the door. (Just kidding. A large part of "talent" is hard work. I know that.)
Tristin has done a number of movies, starting in the Indie culture in Minneapolis (where I knew her), and later also Out West. She appeared in one episode of Criminal Minds in 2014, as the schoolteacher for Hotch's son, with the implication that she might become Hotch's new love interest. But the writers decided to go a different direction. And she's done print work, including appearing on the anti-shoplifting cardboard packaging for this or that product. From what little I know, she's nice. All of the family are nice.
If you'd like to hear Chris' whole tenor-to-bass range in one solo multitrack song, find "Amazing Grace" on his Official channel.
Chris also sings with a group called Cypress Fyre.
Don't know if you heard, but HF moved up the timetable. Austin Brown has already left the group, and Adam Bastien has replaced him and started performing publicly with HF.
So now they have three Adams.

Well to answer your question about Freddie, Fat Bottom Girls was released in 1978. You don't seriously think he was out to the public back then, do you?
That's a good point... but he never publicly "came out" it was just kind of "known" by the fact that he visited gay clubs all over the world, the clothing he wore etc.
@MrsRealistic yeah, I think one of their music videos, I think it was Crazy Little Thing Called Love, had Freddie on a motorcycle with a leather jacket on with a girl on it with him, so he was just playing the rock and roll front man persona.
That being said, it looks hilariously cheesy, but maybe that's just because I know he was gay, maybe if I didn't, I wouldn't notice as much. Who knows 🤷♂️
Haha! Yeah, that would be a bit cheesy knowing what we NOW know. Watching the movie about his life was super interesting. I think he was known as "bi"... but I think it was more of a cover for him actually being gay since he preferred men... and it wasn't as accepted back then.

The guy in the short cover all at the end is Eric Buegler ( Buegs) he is a friend of Rob. Him and Rob have a movie review podcast called The Avid Indoorsman. He is in a few Home Free videos ( Honey I’m Good , Friends In Low Places,Can’t Stop The Feeling and more I believe. He even comes on the stage once in awhile when they sing this song which is fun 😂 He is also an amazing singer he recently collaborated with Hound And Fox on as song called Rainbow Connection ( Lullaby Lyric video ) they just released.
The gentleman in the cowboy hat is Chris Rupp. He is Adam ‘s ( beatboxer) brother they founded the group 2000/ 2001. He left the group in 2016 and Adam Chance aka Chance replaced him.

The guy in overalls is Beugs, a friend of Rob’s (guy with sunglasses and big beard). He’s been in other HF videos and knows no shame. Love HF. They’re nuts all while sounding great!😍😄😂
That's what's so funny, a producer asked if they knew anyone with no shame,and apparently Rod was like ooh ooh... l know a friend perfect for that. I don't know his name, but I've seen him in a couple of their videos. And he is funny, l know why him and Rod are Friends, he's like the rest of the group but can't sing, scenes of humor, silly, but good natured.

That guy is Chris Rupp, He and Adam Rupp his brother (Home Free beatboxer) started the group. Chris left to do a solo career in 2016 and Adam Chance (they call him Chance because there are now 2 Adams) came into the group.
And now, with Austin's leaving, the new guy replacing him is also an Adam so now there's three of them.

The Rupp brother’s sister, Kristin is a dancer, and she recruited her dance group to be the ladies in the video. That’s why there are no “fat Bottom girls” in the video.

The group didn't want to look as if they were belittling woman that's why the kept showing their own butts. And that of Robs friend and podcast partner.

The big guy in the cut-off overalls is Buegs, Rob's friend. Having him appear like this, besides being funny in itself, is a nod to the song and video Girl In a Country Song, which calls out country videos for being so heavily adorned with women in Daisy Duke shorts and bras. The video includes several guys dressed like Buegs is here.
ETA: Buegs sings tenor in another acapella group. I have wondered if they have considered him for Austin's replacement. I don't know what his voice is like, other than tenor.

Buegs’ group is/was called Sound Exchange. I don’t know if they are still together. I saw them open for Home Free in 2016. They weren’t bad.
