Could be more of a resilience-strong rather than power-strong. The issue wasn't that she didn't see the punch coming but that it put her out for quite a bit of the proceeding fight and things may have been different if she tanked it without going down. I won't deny that taking an unexpected punch to the back of the head and not dropping is just as difficult as predicting it, but...anime.
