Great advice, side note, we lost our first chicken the other day, it drowned in our duck bath. they don't have oil on their feathers and get waterlogged easily.
You may have already known this but wanted to share to watch your standing water! :)

I made the mistake one time of not putting a lid on the watering bucket and found a dead chicken in there the next day.
