- This gameplay tutorial for Mechwarrior Online shows you how to utilize your Mech to it's best extent. I'll give you a rundown of the build and what it is made for and show you the actual combat role in two games on the battlefield.
Mechwarrior Online is a competitive first person shooter where you build and pilot massive Mechs and prove yourself on the battlefield. The game is based on the Battletech franchise, which originally was a science fiction tabletop game in the 80s. Big part of the game is configuring your loadout and find the best match of missile, ballistic and energy weapons for your playstyle. The weapon variety ranges from devastating autocannons over particle projectors to deadly arrays of laser beams. On the battlefield your team of 12 Mechwarriors fight the enemies on rather small arena-type maps. Teamwork is crucial here because a single Mech does not survive long if it steps in front a full firing line. Communication and teamwork is key on your journey to glory and victory.

I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

I have been using long range lights for harassment lately. An ERPPC stealth commando, and a 4 erll Kit Fox.

I love to see it. I really enjoy the Roguetech playthroughs, the Armored Core series and the MW5 modded series, (I can't wait to see Clans) but it is always fun to see MWO and the Daily Dose which has such great one-liners and overall fun atmosphere to the game play. Great to see it return and I can't wait for more.
I started playing this game when Covid started and I just learned today you can run up that wall like Bara did at 9:15

Just thought I'd add that bara's trip snub, dual srm 4 dragon was my favourite mech for a long time. Id even say it kept me playing mwo at times, sadly they nerfed it due to the snubs

I used to do this sort of playstyle as my main mech type when I played MWO, but I did it with an Incubus. Was a lot of fun.

Great games, enjoyed the tactics with this aptly named mech.
Played glee last night. Won every game. Caused mass chaos and confusion. Drawing assault mechs to chase after me. Even got some kills. Pilot score down every game. So back to heavier mechs I went.

hey bara this is my exact favorite build right down to the armor distribution! good matches, highest I've scored with it so far is 1029 - actually the match that got me the "Seriously!?" achievement came from this thing.

It took me a couple months to check this out and I actually found it was almost funnier to put stealth on this. When they see me i just pop stealth on and relocate

There have been a few er med buffs since you have last played that make them very viable on the fle20. Having a 400+ optimal means you are outside detection range of the majority of mechs.

I've been trying to run a locust like that, but not having ECM I seem to get hunted down pretty easily. Any tips on playing mid range backstabber w/o ECM/JJs?
Are there any weapons you can put on a stealthy mech that don’t instantly give away your position? Small Gauss rifles or something?

@@gladius6gaming Why are you trying to claim a game is bad even though you don’t even play it? Any way it’s just my opinion I am having the most fun I have ever had in this game currently, and with the cauldron balancing things the game is currently the most balanced it has ever been. and most of the good things the game has had going for it was content that just never went away so the game currently has the most going for it that it ever had mainly being the cauldron plus all the content it has had in the past, the only thing it has lost was the player count because the game did not fix the biggest issues that it has but those were always issues so it is still the best it has always been and, and the smaller play count has its upside because you get to see people you recognize all the time when playing.
