    You guys are awesome! Little tips like these will make the biggest difference! I'm a cosmo who loves nails and didn't get detailed nail school education. This channel is perfect for me to learn on my own as I go. Thank you guys! And Tracey of course!!!

    Seems like such a simple thing and I didn't even realize that I was doing these things incorrectly myself!! Had a snack while watching this video (yes, it's after midnight where I am, don't judge lol) and I was literally holding my fork backwards to feel the difference in those positions just with the way I had control. Blown away! Thank you so much for pointing that out! Never would have thought to change something I was convinced was so basic! What a difference!

    My biggest problem with doing my own nails is making a decision on what to do. Then I get my nails done and watch a RUclips video an hour later and find something else I like! I like it all 😁

    This is very, very helpful! Because I have done calligraphy, needlework, and have worked with brushes, I have very good hand control. But the e-file can be intimidating to a beginner, and I really hadn’t considered using the same positioning as with the brushes. I think with these tips, I should be able to “nail” the e-mail as well as my brushes. 🤓 TY! TY! TY!

    After watching this I notice I do use my fingers to anchor when using polishes, topcoats, anything in a bottle like that. BUT, I have not been doing that with my acrylic/gel brushes. Thanks for this info- so helpful! Off to try these tips with my acrylic brush & see how much more control I have. No doubt in my mind it will give me so much more control! Awesome vid, guys& thanks, again!

  • @therestwerepilots
    @therestwerepilots 6 лет назад

    Thank you for this video! It's very helpful. Now, I wanna ask: what happens for those of us with long nails? I see you using the tip of your fingers a lot to ensure that precision that you talk about. And I can understand the position and the movement. But I can't quite replicate it when my long nails get in the way. I would really appreciate if you could help me with this. Thank you so much for all the educational videos you continuously post!

    Any chance you could give us (me) the same kind of tips for doing my own personal nails? I have issues with my non-dominant hand the most. I can't rest my hand on my other hand the way you describe it here.. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  6 лет назад +3

      it is always tricky doing our own nails, especially when it comes to our non-dominant hand. The best advice I can give you is to just try different ways of positioning your hand, find what is most comfortable for you.

    I am back with another question... just so you know I am in South Africa and doing self studies in acrylic nails. You guys are my teachers...so thank you so much again. here is my question. When applying the acrylic powder to my brush, must it be pointed at the end or do i flatten it?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  4 года назад +1

      You always want to smooth it out before application. When working flat you have more surface to pick up a larger bead

    These are all things people learn in a course and gain experience Idk your telling us what people don’t know how to do because they’ve not had experience doing it just pointless in my opinion. Really I didn’t see the point of this video but hey any video is a video.
