There are more bushes that need to be checked then there are wards available so face checking is a reality. But it should only be done by someone who is tanky enough and has enough nearby allies to win. A Sion face check is very very different from an Oriana face check.

Could you guys do "peeling" sometime?
using CC and area denial spells to prevent the enemy from attacking a particular champion, usually the adc.

To be fair, if the entire enemy team is hiding in a bush and you walk up to it, even if you use a ward you're already too close, you're probably not getting away.

As an ADC/Support player (yes I play both), this hurts really, really bad. For both reasons; even though I always buy control wards even as ADC, there's always a temptation to do a face check for some reason.
