The Last Leg - Solo Sailing Dominica to Grenada

- In this video we complete our first checkpoint in the circumnavigation by arriving in Grenada. After a number of mechanical issues and getting our butt kicked by hurricane Ernesto, it's time to leave Dominica and brave the 240 mile solo sail to St. George's, Grenada. It'll be 50 hours no sleep, no assistance, a draining task; but the good Lord has blessed us with one of the best weather windows I have ever sailed. Beautiful sunsets, sunrises, full moon both nights, and a calm sea that's seems to have eased up on us for the final leg. In the next video we'll talk all about our plans for Grenada and the diy boat projects that are to come! Thanks for watching and sorry for the wait everyone! I updated Patreon about this, but basically the sail took it out of me and I had to recover for a few days. Now I'm fed, rested, and I have the boat in a safe spot, so I am ready to go baby. Let's get daily again.

Can’t imagine the boost Charlie gives you each day out there solo sailing. Stoked you have each other out there on the vast waters. Congrats on sailing the Caribbean, such a huge accomplishment. 👏
It feels so darn good when you fix a problem doesn’t it? Not just that it’s fixed but that you did it. 🍾

Join the morning Bay nets Monday-Saturday beginning at 0730 hours on Ch 66 duplex. Don't forget to change your vhf from US mode to International mode now that you've left American waters.
Weather, shopping bus schedules, cruiser activities...the works.
BTW, customs usually gives the first three months visa free.
Mebbe you pissed them off by grabbing those Frankie dawgs at Merry Baker before clearing into the country? ;-)
Yachts can clear into or out of Grenada at Port Louis as you did, also Prickly Bay marina. Welcome to Prickly Bay from SILVERHEELS III
Hey Silver Heels! would love to link up soon! I'm sure that customs didn't know about the bakery visit so unsure why the charge if you say it's free. oh well. Did you check into prickly bay recently? on Navionics I saw that there is no longer check in here?
FISHING!? On the way to Granada.
had a line out the first day but was honestly too exhausted the second
I would pass through Grenada and hit Trinidad if you want to get work done. Grenada is expensive, and if you need any trade support, the quality and time it takes is definitely questionable.

How/where does Charlie go potty while you are underway so long?
When will your girlfriend be able to rejoin you?
