It was one of my brother and I's favorite games growing up. I actually brought it up semi-recently to him, and we both had really strong nostalgic reactions to Simple Plan's - Grow Up from the soundtrack!
I didn't play this as a kid I was always playing some other weird skating game for the wii that was similar too jet set it was really fun though I never got past the 2nd world
100% that game 7 times
I have vague memories of there being a version of this game for the Game Boy Advanced and playing it a lot thanks to my cousins letting me borrow it multiple times.
This game absolutely Slapped! The core gameplay was so smooth but we have to mention here that the soundtrack was absolutely incredible
The soundtrack of this game literally shaped my music taste. Something about going from Jump 5 to Allister to Grits just hits different.

“I don’t want to be told to grow up”-This song is the biggest thing I remember from this game
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AND ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED SKATEBOARDING GAMES EVER. It’s not just the character skate, it’s the customer character design, the missions, the fact the game played more like a multiversal adventure than a skateboarding game. Even the parks were crazy unique. I love this game, hope it gets a remake, and if not, hope it gets a sequel cuz I’d argue this is one of the few Disney original game ideas that worked!

The character creator was AWESOME. I loved skating around the hub world and making up stories in my head
It’s kinda nuts that Max Goof wasn’t a playable character when his whole thing is that he loves skateboarding
My after school "daycare" program in elementary had this as one of their only games available and I have such strong nostalgia for it now

I’ve been skating half my life and this game definitely kept me interested when I was younger. Of course THPS4 too but I played this on GameCube with my cousin all the time
I used to play this game all the time on the PS2, I beat it multiple times, unlocking all of the clothing items for you to collect. I found the game on a Demo Disc for the PS2, and I enjoyed the demo so much that my grandma bought it for me. The game also got me into Jump 5, and my dad found a CD that had the song Spinnin' Around, which was featured in the game. I can't believe that this game is already 20 years old. 😄
Not only did I have this game. I 100%d it on three different save files. It's genuinely a great game, which is rare to say about a media franchise license game.

I hope Tarzan shows up in Disney Speedstorm. It sucks that he has licensing issues. I'm glad that he did show up in that recent Once Upon a Studio short.
Love that Jordan is throwing all these retro games out that I remember too, funny enough I’m buying all those all Xbox games to play again, moving on to ps2, then ps3 and 360, keep throwing them out!!
My oldest son just sent me this video… He was five years old when this game came out and we used to play it together. It was so much fun to sit there with my son and do this… Although he probably did not enjoy the fact that I would make him read the instructions to complete the levels Andy’s room was the best level and it was good times… Honorary shout out to pizza planet!
This game is quite literally a reskinned Pro Skater 4, it uses its game engine. It is also my 2nd favorite Tony Hawk game after Pro Skater 4
Man I remember going to Gamestop trying to get Pro Skater 4 and it was out of stock so I rented this instead... and this shit was so damn fun to play as a kid I did not complain haha
I still get memories of playing as Nala on Pride Rock listening to Downfall ❤️ probably in my top 10

I have routinely visited my local game stores for years looking for this. I absolutely love this game, even if it is just watered down tony hawk. The soundtrack is absolutely legendary.
I was wondering where I got that vague childhood memory of Tarzan on a crude skateboard.
I would question why is there are a couple of quadrupeds
among the playable cast in a skateboarding game...
But then I remembered Spyro exists!
Disney strange take on Tony Hawk Pro Skater, but the mouse couldn't mimic the Hawk's game.
Also high key that was the best add read & should definitely be used again
I remember playing this game for hours upon hours with my friend when we were in
middle school. That and Super Smash Bros Melee. I literally have a playlist saved on Spotify that I found that has all the songs from Disney Xtreme Skate!😂😂😂😅😅😅

I absolutely loved this game!
This is a game I very much liked. Had a blast with it growing up. Maybe better than it had a right to be. It was perfectly playable, simple, and loads of fun. The character roster is weak, but I’m happy what we got. Zerg being playable took me by surprise as someone who likes that character in general, and was the only hazard mission boss that became a playable skater. Lol And while I also like the Tony Hawk games during that time, I’m no expert on the technical gameplay aspect of them. Or never played enough of them to tell. But for what the game is for children, it was super duper enjoyable. I’m sure it’s still fun to play today even. The gameplay is just so solid. And because it’s Tony Hawk engine, that explains why it’s good. I ate up every aspect of this game. And don’t get me started on the soundtrack.
