A year ago on 7/11 my two younger brothers were hiking at Stuart Falls in Utah. My 11 year old brother was climbing up a little section and my 8 year old brother was trying to follow him up. It got too hard for the 11 year old and he turned to my 8 year old brother to tell him to not come up any farther because it was getting too hard for him. His hand slipped when he was turning and he fell 30 feet. The 8 year old said that the 11 year old was falling so slow that he could've run down and caught him if he tried. About 10 years ago my grandpa passed away. The 11 year old said that it felt like he was being carried down by somebody. My 11 year old brother walked away from the 30 feet fall with only scratches and bruises. I know that miracles do happen. I just wanted to tell you that story. I don't know why, I just felt like I needed to share it.
It really was a beautiful act of humanity. The kind of Kindness that reminds you of the good in people. Reading that story sort of replenished my weary soul and gave me a brighter outlook.

When a huge wave would break on us we would just blow our nose to prevent sea water from getting into our nose as we spun around through the wave. I see you guys in Utah hold your nose when you jump in the pool or lake and it cracks me up, on the west coast, such as San Diego, if you are in the Ocean surfing or boogie boarding often, we don't do that. It is just something we don't think about and never have had any issues or problems with. Next time just try slowing breathing out through your nose when you jump. It will prevent any water from getting in.

Several years ago we've had a cousin jumping off rocks/small cliffs in Wisconsin. He hit incorrectly and was a quadriplegic the rest of his life. He died 7 years ago from complications of pneumonia (which, over the years was an ongoing complication of his paralysis over the years). He was only 53. He spent the last 27 years of his in a wheelchair. Please think of your family when you try stunts like cliff jumping. Your life is too precious to maim or lose. Please be careful.
It was my birthday yesterday on 7/11. My youngest thought I turned 83 so she wished me a happy 83rd bday (reverse those numbers! Lol). We did celebrate by getting slurpees.🇨🇦😂🇨🇦😎
That lake reminds me of the lake here where I live. It is one of the largest lakes in our state of West Virginia. We have one of the Largest Land filled dams in the country. My little town of Summersville is a big tourist attraction in our state. I love living here.
