I love hearing you all say that you are still learning when it comes to filming your lives. I never knew until we started a couple months ago what it was really like. I've heard Ellie say that there is always more to what you see no matter what someone does. I can't tell you how helpful you all to us on this journey. We have been watching every single day since before you had Jackson. I feel like you all are our friends and I am forever thankful. So I have two suggestions for your backyard. I feel like the kids' hobbit hole is still unfinished. I think you guys really should do something to the outside of it. A fun idea could be to paint it with chalkboard paint inside and out. That would be really sweet for them to be able to sit in it and draw on the walls or on the outside, and then you could just wash them off when you wanted or erase them. I also think you should put little barriers around the mulched garden areas. Like a little stone or black tube barrier. That way it's kind of a mental signal for Penny to not play in it and I personally love things like that, I think they're so aesthetically pleasing and would really look nice. Just a few ideas. Congrats on your merch!! :)
I feel the same about what to photograph and when to. Sometimes you need to just take the moment in by capturing it in your mind than always on your camera!!
It's good to just film whatever you like and be relaxed about it! That's what I do right now. Then again I just started vlogging more regularly again! Congrats on getting new merchandise!! Woohoo!!

I have to say when I first saw the backyard with all the rocks surrounded by boring old dirt I didn't like the look of it. Now with all the mulch I think it looks amazing! 😉 it's absolutely beautiful Ellie and Jared, the mulch adds so much to your yard!

adricastro I agree! It's not like it used to be when you got a good picture of their day and they show the same stuff over and over. Makes for boring vlogs in my opinion.
adricastro they discussed it in their video how they have found a happy medium for them on enjoying the moments verses capturing the moments on film! It sucks that we can't see everything but as long as they're happy that's all that matters :)

Ive noticed the griffin tribe is rather cloakish and interdependent, and this branch in particular seem to be struggling to provide content that's 1) entertaining 2) interesting 3) their energy level has started mirroring that of Jared's brother's channel. Wonderful ideas! We're planted some vine-bushes to grow on the outside of the hobbit hole. We're excited to see how that plays out
