For one, socialism fails everytime in Africa. Secondly, US backed Mobutu. Ask any Congolese, and they will tell you Mobutu had his country in order compared to the Kabila's. US gives more aid to Africa and takes alil less compared to European and Chinese powers who take more with far less benefit. Paul Kagame and Yoweri Mouseveni are the reasons the DRC suffers today, as well as China and the European powers.
I bet most Congolese don't know this part of their history because it's not taught again in schools just like Nigerian civil war.
But if you don't know where you coming from, how do yo know where you heading to?🤔

Russia was their number 1 opponent so using communism as an excuse will justify the inhumane act in front of the western public.
USA has invaded and destroyed nothing less than 12 countries since WWII. Yemen, Libya, Iraq, Cambodia, Lebanon, Afghanistan etc. If you only count the countries invaded, it should be nothing less than 50
