Excellent video Tom, to have to change your approach from thinking a 4x10 would be a good approach, to end up fishing with almost 3g shows why UK anglers are up there with the best in the world. I truly think the reason UK anglers are so good is solely down to the variables of the UK weather, it is so unpredictable that anglers have to be able to adapt and quickly, just to stay in touch.

Very good video. Like the fact you show seat box setup and explain the reasons for it. Yes you did lose the first fish but shows that everyone can lose fish. So thank you for that. However fishing picked up. Thank you for a great video. Kev Hood

Hi Bernie/ Mark, Tom here:-) Firstly, thanks for the kind words, glad you liked the video :-) As Mark rightly says, the bump bar is supplied as part of the accessory pack - and in truth I wouldn't be without one. Brilliant piece of kit whether you use it on the D36 model or the D25 which Mark mentions. Tom
How did you decide how far out to fish, did depth or distance dictate this or under water features. Great feature, I have a match on a reservior soon and have a great approach to start with, just need to know answer to my question...thanks in advance.
Hi Dave we could not fish further than 11m due to really heavy wind. When the camera had packed up Tom actually managed to get big hybrids going literally 10ft from the box. There is a definite ledge and we placed the boxes out as far as the ledge which made fishing in wind much easier. I would start long while continually feeding loose feed (every 30 seconds) around 10ft. We did have a lot of trouble with bleak at one point and had to swap to worm to get a bait through them
